![]() Me too and I almost put 7-8 but I think 10 is doable only because of the construct of the team..I believe with AB playing mid to perimeter it will allow JV more rebound opportunities - at both ends of the court - he'll be more aggressive than AB on the defensive side going for rebounds.

![]() he's a work in progress, and i dont see Casey as the forgiving "lets give him tonnes of time to learn" after he makes mistakes type of coach.
he'll get limited minutes, due to rawness and foul trouble... so i'd be happy with 7.5ppg 6.5 rebs. he's young... he'll have plenty of time to develop. |

![]() he'll get treated the same way mitchell treated bargs. some of us will be able to handle it with the future in mind, others will act like three years olds. i just hope BC doesn't intervene.
i like the 6/5 expectations. they're realistic. coming in and averaging nearly a double-double is a lot, especially when there's only some many players able to achieve that in the nba now-a-days. |

If Ed gets 24.5 mpg and goes 7.7/7.1/1 then the second year 23.2mpg for 6.3/6.6/1 then I strongly believe JV will get the same or more. Last edited by DocHoliday99; 09-06-2012 at 04:01 PM. |

![]() it's not riding the pine, it's developing him. he'll need time throughout the game to be coached from the bench on the mistake he's made. playing him thru is where the mistakes don't get rectified.
If last season is any testament to what we're going to get from Casey, he's not going to endanger our team from winning at the cost of just giving a player PT. I wouldn't be surprise if we saw gray and Bargs received PT during the important parts of the game and JV receive the less meaningful minutes. |

![]() what happened to Bargs was because of BC meddling with mitchell's decisions and line-ups. how he was handled during the first season was fine, it wasn't until the second season where decisions became questionable.

![]() you really think mitchell wanted to start Bargs small forward? LOL
how was mitchell in the wrong? Bargs hit a wall in his sophomore season, and on top of that, he had nagging injuries. he was playing like shit, so mitchell wasn't playing him over the players who could help the team win. we were a competitive team at that point. regardless, that was his second season and we're talking about Bargs/JV's first season. how he was handled was perfectly fine. he played a big role and received a lot of attention from the coaching staff. |
