Valanciunas likely to debut on Wednesday

Unless Valanciunas says he is sore on Wednesday morning or the Raptors are hit with a sudden burst of extreme caution, Valanciunas will begin his career in earnest on Wednesday.

Monroe and Drummond will be a great test for him!

The only thing is i hope he's not being rushed back. I'm sure that if he plays he'll be limited to roughly 15min

Fixxxer 10-09-2012 08:32 PM

Yes! This means he should be playing when I got to the game on Friday!!:yeah:

0nekhmer 10-09-2012 08:33 PM

i just hope expectations aren't too high! apparently in practice, he was having a bit of trouble getting boards off of Magloire because of his "body". :confused2:

Zalgiris 10-09-2012 08:44 PM

There are no refs in practice so no wonder that experienced guys like Magloire know how to push rookies to make themselves look good :D
Valanciunas is not about rebounds, not abound points, not about defense, he is all about potential, yet :) I think in 3rd season Valanciunas role will be close or equal to Kyle and Andrea. This year is for gathering experience, next year is for gaining consistency, third season is for taking over the team, fourth season is for dominating the league :cookie:

Carlos Danger 10-09-2012 09:38 PM

8 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist in 22 minutes.

Then what did you refer to? Everyone knows that he needs to gain some weight, Jonas knows it himself too. What kind of undersize-ness are you talking about? Height wise? :dead:

Do I really need to explain what I meant?

He doesn't have the same built as some of the established Centers in the league, and I never really noticed this until I saw some of his recent pics from the photo shoot.

That being said, hes young and will develop size

DDUnreal 10-10-2012 11:24 AM

Beyond pointless.
