OMG OMG OMG....I was just going to post here and you mentioned me OMG.

First of all, CB4 is defiantly underrated and if Lebron and Wade and given him the ball to shoot more they would have beaten the Mavs.

Secondly, how can this guy from some country in the middle of Africa be compared to CB4. From the highlites it doesn't even look like he can shoot, all he does is dunk and make easy baskets.

Does he do Youtube Videos? I don't see any.

This guy is not and never will be CB4, he probably doesn't even speak english and couldn't say hi to me like CB4 did, so how can he be a good basketball player.

Troll? I am tall for my age.

What is a Zhylvis anyway? I am pretty sure you are missing some vowels in there.

You are a new raptor fan...I am THE Raptors BEST FAN, even though CB4 is gone. I am also the last member of the month here.

Wasn't he advertised as the anti-Chris Bosh? CB4 can't play defense for shit, and hes soft. CB4 can score... Jonas can't, hes raw. I don't get the comparison.

JV is not even close to CB4 in his game.. CB4 is finess mid range face up PF. JV on the other hand is Noah/Gasol hybrid center.

My comparison had more to do with how I saw Bosh at the same age. At that point he looked like he might be able to play center, and in fact he got stuck doing so quite a bit. I would agree that JV appears to be more of a clearcut legit C, but right now he plays much more like a Bosh than he does a Noah or Gasol. He works the pick and roll relentlessly, hits the midrange shots, has the face-up game. But I do think he stands a good chance to have a bigger impact on the other end of the court while developing into who knows what.

I do not remember Bosh being high energy pick and roll guy going after every lose ball or rebound.... Noah on the other hand does just that. Lets put it this way Jonas has Noah's motor and hustle and better FT shooting and finishing at the rim, while Noah at this point is much better defender and rebounder. But given that Jonas is only 19 years old and has all the time in the world to develop better post up moves I think it is not unreasonable to see him as Noah( on defense ) Gasol (on offense )type player.

You know it is funny you mentioned that, as I had in mind Pau, but watching todays game Spain-Lithuania it was Marc whose game reminded me JV the most. So lets say best case scenario it would be Pau and worst case it would be Marc))

sure... let's hope that JV doesn't become as good as Pau....

Pau is one of very few players that can play both frontcourt positions effectively....
