That would be awesome knowing that Lithuania is preparing for the Eurobasket 2011 this summer and therefore building a lot of new arenas icluding the one which fulfils most of NBA standarts.

The Arena is called Žalgiris Arena in line with the basketball team name which will be playing there. The capacity is 14,502.

Some thoughts why the buyout agreement was reached so quickly. I suppose the very good relations between Raptors and Lithuanian basketball federation wasn't the last factor.

Maurizio Gherardini in Lithuania:

First video

And another video Look from 55 seconds.

I'm sure they won't make him pay everything in one year. Just like I'm sure Rytas is all for favours, like playing exhibition game

Thoughts on Jonas Valanciunas' game vs the U19 USA team yesterday?

Chad Ford: I think he showed why he was a Top 5 pick. Patrick Young is a NBA athlete and has a NBA body and Valanciunas looked great against him. A couple of GMs told me after the draft he was the No. 1 rated guy on their board. I know Raptors fans were frustrated with the pick, but if they're patient ... he is a talent.

Worst team in the NBA next season: Toronto or Charlotte?

Chad Ford: I'd put the Raptors at the top of the list. Minnesota next. Charlotte, Cleveland and Sacramento in the next group ... that is if none of them make significant changes via trade or free agency.

Jonas is light years ahead of Bismack in terms of potential

Bismack was drafted for his size and athleticism. Patric Young will be drafted in a stronger class and most probably in the lottery also because of his size and athleticism.

Valanciunas, dominated (for lack of a stronger word), Young. Bismack's team wouldn't beat the US by over 30+ points, even if adjusted for team strength.

Charlotte is the worst NBA team right now, on paper. Who is their best player, Maggette, Augustine?

2) Valančiūnas. Let's take the first three letters of the surname ("Val") and find the first most appropriate english word to represent him - the Wall.

Well, he could be just Jonhnny at the momet. The second part of the nickname (the Wall) he would earn later on - when added more strength and muscles

What are your thoughts?

Well, I was just driving today through Rocky Mountains and there was a sign which caught my attention - you are in Avalanche country.

Kind of rimes with his last name.... Valanciunas
