No way they start him day 1. Unless he destroys everyone in training camp. Even then - probably not.

anyone know what the deal is with his buy-out?

if there's a lock-out, we might as well keep him there for the season.

Man..we needed another guy who can make some sort of immediate impact in the span of next two years. Now we just have another project like Bargnani. However his potential is nothing compared to bargnani.

Val is the right pick ,anyone hating this pick because he is lithuanian should be ashamed of himself. he has the most talent in this draft after williams and he has a totally different game than Bargs .

BC is definitely going to make a trade sometime soon to clear up the log jam at the PF/C spot. As of now, Bargs and Amir starts. With Val and Ed coming off the bench. This will be good for us, if Val can become a good low post scorer and rebounder

Well he was projected to be top 10 and was seen as the best international player in this draft along with Kanter

Some of you guys are hilarious.

Long term guys. Long term.

All this shows me is that they don't think Knight was that good or had the mental toughness to be a PG.

I like the pick. We've seen the end of Bargnani (shortly).

Jonas is a skinny soft piece of shit, I hope hes traded. We could of had BISMACK, wtf the guy is a total beast. MJ is probably laughing his ass off at us, with good reason. Fuck BC.

I doubt a trade is imminent.

There's minutes to play 3 bigs heavy minutes + 1 big taking everything else.

Also, Ed Davis hasn't shown he can play full starters minutes. Neither has Amir. In my opinion, Bargs is better when playing less minutes too.

There's minutes for those four guys to co exist.

If someone goes, it'll probably be Amir. Jonas is a lot like Amir but with better size and way more potential.

That's nothing against Amir, I like him a lot as a player and I'd like it if he stayed around long term. Just more as a role player and fan favorite.

I also doubt BC will be making any moves before the new CBA is in place.

You serious? he's raw in the offense, seems like a poor man's Joel Anthony. Hell in some workouts people said he could catch a ball for shit
