Does anybody know what his career high was in points? I just can't get why they wouldn't let him loose a few games to get his averages up (more minutes, etc) Did he have some break out games? I know Enes had his 34 point Nike game that surpassed Dirk's record of 33 points for the game. Just trying to figure how this guy was projected to be so good based on such limited play.

what he is saying is "fiasco" was way over the top. Do you actually believe any of us are happy with his reb or D!?

obviously there was hope that side of his game would develop WAY quicker, but also probably there was an expectation that the team would be better by this point and then we could afford to carry him somewhat.

dirk's reb and D are not great (yes, they are better than barg,) but he's in a great team which has evolved its D and they use him for what he is good at, scoring. Barg is also good at scoring.

i would prefer to see him stay in Europe next year where he will get lots of PT...let his body and game develop one more year before he moves across the pond...besides, this team will possibly lose 50-60 games next year with or without him in the line-up

i was initially disappointed with this selection (wanted a PG) but i think when looking at the overall big picture, he will be a good choice moving forward for this team

it was said out of innocence, thats what made it the best part. He sounds like a genuine kid, and devlin was saying he was so happy he couldnt stop smiling after he saw his jersey with the #17

Kanter 18.6 ppg. 54% FG 28.5 mpg.

only guessing of course, but i'd say he'd be lucky to get 10-13 mins a game here next year...and some of that would probably be garbage mins as well..he's an 18 yr old kid who's being asked to take on the role of a "big" in the NBA...personally, i don't think he's physically and mentally ready for it yet

i'd prefer to see him develop one more year in Europe...and hopefully add at least another 15 lbs in that time frame
besides, the Raps are going nowhere next year...there's no rush
if this kid could gain a total of 30 lbs while keeping his present speed then i think we have a REALLY nice piece moving forward
