Does anybody know what his career high was in points? I just can't get why they wouldn't let him loose a few games to get his averages up (more minutes, etc) Did he have some break out games? I know Enes had his 34 point Nike game that surpassed Dirk's record of 33 points for the game. Just trying to figure how this guy was projected to be so good based on such limited play.

what he is saying is "fiasco" was way over the top. Do you actually believe any of us are happy with his reb or D!?

obviously there was hope that side of his game would develop WAY quicker, but also probably there was an expectation that the team would be better by this point and then we could afford to carry him somewhat.

dirk's reb and D are not great (yes, they are better than barg,) but he's in a great team which has evolved its D and they use him for what he is good at, scoring. Barg is also good at scoring.

i was initially disappointed with this selection (wanted a PG) but i think when looking at the overall big picture, he will be a good choice moving forward for this team

he would probably get more minutes in the NBA. I think he was averaging 20 mpg in Europe.

I always wondered why all player from Europe get lumped together in one group. There are many countries with different styles.
Its like lumping all North Americans together

He actually outscored way bigger Kanter 2 years ago, in u-19 championship.

Kanter 18.6 ppg. 54% FG 28.5 mpg.
Jonas 19.3 ppg. 72% FG 27.6 mpg.

Ok. career highs

2009 U-18 highs : 37 points, 19 rebounds, 5 blocks
(note : being 17 year old)

2010 U-18 higs : 34 points, 18 rebounds (twice), 6 blocks
(note : playing in most dominant young national team in the world, Lithuania u-1992). Average 19.4 ppg. 13.4 rebs. 30.2 mpg.

Euroleague career highs : 15 points, 10 rebounds,
(note. Achieved his first Euroleague double double in his very first Euroleague game ever, 10 points, 10 rebounds in only 16 minutes. Best Euroleague rebounder per minute, top 3 efficient Center per minute)

Lithuanian league highs (only this season highs) : 23 points (in 22 minutes), 18 rebounds (13 offensice, in 21 minute), 5 blocks (in 22 minutes)

Hope it helps.

only guessing of course, but i'd say he'd be lucky to get 10-13 mins a game here next year...and some of that would probably be garbage mins as well..he's an 18 yr old kid who's being asked to take on the role of a "big" in the NBA...personally, i don't think he's physically and mentally ready for it yet

i'd prefer to see him develop one more year in Europe...and hopefully add at least another 15 lbs in that time frame
besides, the Raps are going nowhere next year...there's no rush
if this kid could gain a total of 30 lbs while keeping his present speed then i think we have a REALLY nice piece moving forward
