Hopefully next season is a lockout. Keep Jonas in the Euroleague one more season and have him come over after the lockout. Can't wait to see what he progresses into

Bargs may have several flaws as a basketball player, but he's not a bust.

Notice how I said "before he ever plays a game"? I thought you were calling Jonas a bust.

And why are you bringing up Bargnani? I mean, I haven't been overseas lately, but I can tell that Jonas is a different type of player. What is the common denominator? They're euros? Please.

Why are you not comparing Jonas to Davis? Their games [Davis and Jonas] are more similar to each other than Jonas is to Bargs.

Ooops... that's my lack of maturity speaking.

Why fuckin' ignorant fans keep saying he is a bust, when experts, the guys who are paid to analyze players / talent thinks he is gonna end up being the best player of this draft??? It's beyond me.

BC has cojones!! He is not thinkin' about possibility of losing his job, he is doing what is best for this franchise and it's building a championship contender! BANG!!!

Absolutely. Bargs is one of the best SGs in the league.

Can you please inform us all what Bargnani has to do with Valenciunas?

Why are you bringing up one guy in relation to another guy when I personally can't see anything that connects them?

+1, Jonas is a beast. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know enough about him.

After being disappointed for the first 4 minutes when we passed on Brandon Knight, I've come to like this pick a lot. I researched on him and he seems like what the Raptors needed at C. His Lithuanian background does not mean he's a soft euro. If anything, he'll be a tough one like Kleiza. Sweet pick that may turn out to be one of the best players from the draft.

i predict, like DD and Ed, val will be at least as good as his placing in the draft, if not better.

Those same experts said barg was the best talent in his draft, that he would probably be better than dirk, were they right??? Hey not all experts are right, it's not just barg, it's not just the NBA, in every league the experts say there is a can't miss prospect that ends up a bust (phillip rivers etc etc)

Nope, but ignorant fans on the internet claiming they know a guy is a bust before he has even played, they are always right. Right?

I'm really happy with this pick. Val has always been my fav choice for this draft.
About the "soft euro" comment there's not much to be said, it's just like cars, Americans want powerfull heavy V8, doesn't matter if a car doesn't handle at all, they create new races for it!
So half of NBA plays are travelling or charges, but who cares, it's more spectacular!
