Calderon's going to be harder to move given his salary of 10 million dollars plus trade kicker. Barbosa was easier.

I disagree.
Jose is great when he is happy & he knows what his roll is. Didn't he throw up 18 assists this season. 99% of the league has yet to ever do that so moving him isn't the problem.
The problem is getting equal value in return for him.

The Los Angeles Lakers are considering adding a point guard, according to a source.

Steve Nash and Steve Blake remain out, leaving Chris Duhon and Darius Morris to handle point guard duties.

Nash's return date remains uncertain.

Both stay here...... both suck
Will probably happen.

I've been shaking my head watching Bellinelli tear it up in CHI now as a starter.

Lucas was great for them last season after Rose went down.... comes here? He sucks rocks lol.

Such is life as a Raptor fan.

LX has touched upon this so many times before. if you're a raptor, you're either not playing like mourning or your looking to be the lebron on the team. problem is, when there are 5 guys on the team trying to be lebron, and none of them come within even 1/10000000 of his talent level, you're gonna end up with our record. belinelli looks great because he is playing in a role that suits his game. he comes back here, he'll suck again.

I'd argue that he's actually succeeding because he's actually been given a CHANCE to play through some mistakes.

When he was here he'd be lucky if he'd get 10 min/gm... in spite of the fact that he could shoot it from deep and was an underrated passer.

I said it before and I'll say it again.... we gave up on that kid WAY too early.

He actually played with a bit of a chip too at times which I liked.

a lot like Delfino too.... these raps fans are way too fickle. We've been cursed with talentless wings and we cast these guys off like we're going to strike gold with glue guys.

he's been injured though... glue guys need to be intact to help put the rest of the team intact with their super gluing powers

I somewhat agree with your general point, but Marco got 19 minutes a game here pre all-star break. Not like he was glued to the bench. That's the same amount he's playing right now it looks like.

Belli was part of a split locker room where half the players didn't speak english. And he was hungover on more than one occasion if I remember correctly.

The Bulls have enough really good players filling the right roles that they can let loose with a John Lucas or a Belinelli and succeed. Having something of a balanced roster can do wonders. And having an organization that has the balls to sit a guy like Boozer when he needs to be sat, regardless of what he's getting paid, doesn't hurt in that regard either. The Bulls can pay attention to detail as a team. We have a collection of individuals that always appear to be in over their heads without the support of a properly constructed team. All roads lead to Rome.

As LX wisely said, we shouldn't have given up on Belinelli and his angry drunk ways that brought passion and swagger to our team... we're clearly missing that and have a team of soft personalities... we must fix this but Rome wasn't built in a day unfortunately. Well said, LX.

Definitely a lot of truth there...

I really wish that we would've given him a go @ the PG spot for a bit though before we dealt him. He always seemed like a player who had nice court vision and his height would have been tough for opposing guards to deal with.

Oh well...

He gets 10 million and a starter role up until this season and we've supposedly treated him poorly? I really don't get that. Despite struggling last year, he kept his starting job over Bayless who statistically outplayed him in the starting role. He's been treated very well as a Raptor and while he is a professional, that's his job. Players should get credit for going above and beyond the call of duty, not for fulfilling their contractual obligations. I'd be willing to bet Calderon can understand BC going after Tyson Chandler, a DPOY all-star level center, at his expense.

Saying he's been treated poorly is non-factual.

Are players not the definition of a mercenary in a sense? They are talented at what they do, so some fancy guy in a suit pays them big money to go out and wage a war via basketball

Speaking of Raptors who went away and found success, how about Humphires?? Not having a spectacular year this year, but had 14 ppg/11 rpg last year and 10/10 the year before. Would be nice at that PF spot instead of Bargs.
