UPDATE: House & Allen Re-Sign With Boston (Pg. 2)

Would be elated if we can still add either of these two.

I know hes on a list over at headquarters of guys who might be available for minimum money later this summer to fill that 13th spot.

Tony Allen's still out there and he'd be on their list as well.

Yep, but Allen would be the much better option.

Hes a taller more proven Hassan Adams that actually has the potential to avg around 10 ppg AND hes shown that he can play lockdown D vs the better players in the league.

He'd be a FANTASTIC bench addition

Agree with you thriller, too bad Posey has left Boston, it's possible now they think Allen is more important for the team.

Boston signed Anthony Roberson? I thought the Knicks did.

If we could add House to our team for minimum money I would be pretty happy. Hes a good team player and though he can sometimes take bad shots, he has championship experience and having him on the bench here in Toronto would be vital, experience wise if we are looking to beat Boston.

I though I read somewhere that Allen has already signed somewhere else?

edit: It was Mallik Allen

They did. I just looked at Smith's blog and it's all corrected.

House makes sense, gives us another shooter off the bench, and can bring the ball up if we need him too

I think Tony Allen, when healthy, is a better player than Delfino. I would love to see him on board.

Isn't that smart? Here we go, someone knocking a guy that's done nothing but improve this team since coming here and someone has to put him down. The fickleness around here at times is laughable!

House may be the combo guard that the Raps could use. However this doesn't really help the "tightening of the rotation" plan that the team wants to have. The team needs to really pick up some players who will be DNP-CDs. I don't think House or Allen, Livingston or Miles would want that, unless we ship out some good players.

Yeah, the Raptors miss the playoffs four straight years...Not only missing it but really not coming close to getting in at all. Then Colangelo comes along and in year one they make it and then in year two they make it. Now he lands a center who can rebound, play D and score and still some people aren't happy and question his intelligence?

No matter who the Raptors bring in, this will always happen. Most sports fans in Toronto are very negative and are never happy or satisfied. It's the same with the Leafs.I remember when they were in the playoffs 6 straight seasons and making it to the Conference finals twice,so called fans were whining to fire Pat Quinn. I bet those fans now miss those days now, even though they'd be too stupborn to admit it. Toronto sports fans in general will never change.

I don't miss Pat. Nor do I miss Maurice either. It's not always the coaches. Most of the time if a team misses the playoffs for a number of years it could be the whole organization altogether or the GMs

I don't miss Pat either. But he was for a few years both GM/Coach.
