If this is what we can look forward to for the rest of the season then I won't bother wasting my time or my money supporting this broken product.
It's gonna take more than a year.
Just watch a good team and get this shit off your mind for the time being, Masai is in control.

Detroit won a championship with Darko (though not because of him) and they had great bigs, who knows what he could've been had he not been behind the Wallaces. Not to mention overseas scouting is a lot better nowadays. Cleveland became a contender and if they had been able to get any decen pieces around lebron they most likely could have won a chip. Masai is much more competent than Cleveland's FO so I'm not worried about that, and we already have JV who will probably be better than anyone on those Cleveland teams. Toronto was screwed by the pitiful return for Vince Carter and more bad GM work. Denver was a decently successful team too.

If we don't tank what do you suggest we do? Fact of the matter is that Toronto is currently not a free agency destination and us being in the fight for 8/9th for two years is not going to change that. Our guys have very little trade value. That leaves us with building through the draft, which I think anyone will agree is easiest to do with high picks.
Why did KoolAid receive a -3 for that phenomenal post? Boggles the mind, just like Casey's rotations and decisions

All of you posters who actually thought we had a shot in hell at making the playoffs this year need to get your heads examined. It's hilarious that the poll before the season started was 50/50 on whether we should try and make the playoffs with this shithole of a roster, or tank. Mostly because we have 0 chance of making the playoffs with this shithole of a roster, but the fact that 50 percent of this board wanted to make the playoffs just shows that blind optimism trumps reason. But I dont blame the fans for thinking this way, its the Raptors organization who's at fault for putting us through torture for most of the past 16 years

Seriously... does anyone think Masai came in to run Colangelo's trash team? He's just seeing what's worth keeping right now lol.

Also, someone needs to bump that thread where multiple posters said that Rudy Gay and Paul George are one in the same and Rudys arguably a better player. JeffB was the leader of the pack IIRC. Time to hop on the tankwagon while you can Jeff.

Was going to make a picture of a tank with the top all the big name players from the draft surrounding the tank, but I suck at photoshop

Yeah, Jonas and Ross playing a bunch of unstructured minutes with nobody watching or caring, that's exactly what they need to develop.

Better yet, we could keep them rotting on the bench and when they do play, theyll have floor generals such as Rudy "iso" Gay and DeMar "contested midrange" DeRozan to feed them looks

Yeah, they are rotting on the bench right now and the offense as you see it is set in stone.

I don't know how Ross is going to become a starter is he's stuck behind 2 overrated wings and JV's growth is definitely being stunted by him not getting as many touches as he should be and him playing roughly 25 mins a game.

And your solution is meaningless minutes in really bad basketball games? I think there are other options. No. I know there are other options. You do too. You just pretend not to.
