How does crap like this get past editors?

Really, I would think that if you are writing for the Raptors official website you could get things right..

I would expect this from one of us jackasses here but.....

speaking of that blog - I wonder if would make sense to go after Hunter, he could be a nice backup in case roko or solomon don't work out. We'd probably pay nothing for him, we'd have to go over the tax, but since his minimum salary is almost paid by the league, we'd be on the hook for less than one million ...

If going to go for another backup, I think we would be better served with a combo 1/2.

However, I dont think we are going after anyone else.

I know we're done with the trades for now - but it's still possible we'll make some moves before the february deadline, depending on how we're doing until then.

I think this mistake (and the multiple grammatical errors I noticed) is an example of what happens when a former professional sportswriter has to work without a trained editor/proofreader.

Nope, I take pride in my ability to self-edit. If there is a grammatical error on my blog, it's probably intentional as a stylistic thing.

Why not just use Microsoft Word it tells you your grammatical errors

I don't like what it does to certain punctuation when I copy-and-paste into EditPlus. When I do make a mistake, I almost always catch it soon after it's posted and then I fix it.

I wonder if Raptors.com has one. I also noticed when they annouced the preseason sked they had mis-spelled Edmonton. I was like how does this happen?

Think at the end of the day we are all human. But Ulmer also does awful interviews I have found and I just have never really been a fan of anything he has done.
