Turkoglu wanted by "handful" of teams - Sports Rumors - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

awesome!

Quote:
Colangelo also tells the paper that Turkoglu, who averaged 11.3 points and 4.6 rebounds with the Raptors, is "commanding a lot of attention" in those potential trade talks.

I guess if you're holding a handful of something in the Colangelo family you're really not holding anything at all.

just because most RF'ers are upset at hedo, doesn't mean the guy still can't play... one bad season and everybody thinks he's worthless... let's trade our junk for other's gold. genius. gotta love the rationality.

That's typical Raptor fans. We were one win from the playoffs without our star player and everyone here thinks nobody on the roster is worth anything. Essentially saying that any gm would laugh and hang up the phone with any offer from us. Al little over the top.

i think i already pointed this out, the handfull of team are most likely philly(brand), Washington(arenas), NO(okafor), Orlando(rashard lewis) and possibly detroit(hamilton?gordon?) or golden state(bedriens?maggette?)

that's the teams i would guess if any

GS doesn't have maggette. I'm sure there are other teams that see Hedo's value too.... beyond RF bashing, which I am almost certain very few NBA people read... (joking, please don't ban me)

what value? can't defend a position, misses 60% of his shots, can play the point but not as efficient as a pg,31, 44 million... its gonna be one burden for another

ok, whatever you say. There were reasons Portland was offering 5/50.... orlando offered 4/36, etc.... but you're absolutely correct....

I agree, but he'd still get paid mid-level +

I agree with Grannyfro ....it would be great to get Gilbert for Turk and maybe banks...not sure what Gilbert's salary is 18? 20? either way Turk and banks or jose would be great. Raps draft bledsoe...that looks like a lineup worth staying for if CB decided...bledsoe -pg, gilbert-sg, DD-sf, Bosh -pf, bargs, c

Not inmpressed with their D tho ...but still one hell of an exciting team to watch

I'm not saying arena's would be great or any of those players i'm just saying thats what were likely looking at in return for hedo unless we give up picks or a prospect along with
BC says a handfull of teams want hedo, i say its the handful of teams with an equally bad(or close to) contract to dump back at us. Like i've said before hope i'm wrong cause that minny rumor sounds nice

Turkoglu has more trade value than Calderon. Some big-budget teams that want to win in the playoffs may want him and that's what Hedo wants too. But I hope he ends up in a shit team like Clippers or even worse in Minnesota with some really mean weather.

Turk to Boston for Perkins. Adds toughness, great post presence and makes up for Chris's loss somewhat, if that happens. If we can trade Bosh and Calderon to Houston "who covet Bosh", for Brooks and Battier, our speed, defence and toughness would show exponential improvement.

Perkins
Bargnani
Battier
Weems
Brooks

A.Johnson
Derozan
Jack

Now that would be a real team! All kinds of diversity.

Thats a nice team that my man.
Perk at the 5 + Bargnani back to the 4, also a Defensive minded player in Battier + an amzaing PG in Brooks

and we still keep Weems + Derozan.

Nice team
