Turkoglu: I'm not happy with how i'm playing in my role in Toronto

I was just watching the news and they showed the Raps highlights and when they were done, they made a refference to Turkoglu being interviewed by the Orlando media, he was asked about his role in Toronto and his response..."I'm not happy with my role in Toronto, but i'm making the best of it"

I'm assuming this will be all over the media by morning. The shit is starting to hit the fan!!

Hedo Turkoglu entered a totally different offense in Toronto this year and so far the transition — at least on the court — hasn’t been especially smooth.

Turkoglu admitted he’s been disappointed with how he’s played this season.

“I’m not really happy how I’m playing right now,” Turkoglu said. “It’s just times that you really need for yourself to judge the situation and your role. I’ll just try to do my best in this role and try to do the best i can.”
Um..are you sure it wasn't this?

Well what would he prefer? Honestly a few less bong hits at half time might help his situation. Kinda ironic that he says this cause i htought it was kinda funny how he basically warmed up with his old team + he looked sad when he was on the bench but not because they were losing so much as he was sad about not calling orlando home anymore

Not sure like i said, they made reference to it. They specifically said though that he wasn't happy with his role but that he was making the best of it.

Where was that from?

If that's it, close up the thread. Sorry.

without howard, turk is shyt. They got it right in the beginning of the season. I think its safe to say turk isn't right for this team. We have lots of talent, but thye just dunt mesh well together (offensively and defensively)

why don't we see Hedo Post up? I thought he was supose to have this post game, haven't seen it yet

would like to see that more instead of Hedo always siting outside the arc

also we don't have a athletic big man, of the Deandre Jordan/Dalembert/ Chandler type how can go up and get dunks, Hedo would get that guy tons of easy baskets

Hedo is not happy with his role ??? Give me a freaking break !

We paid way too much for this guy who really had one exceptional season. We can't compare him to playoff performance because we have not seen him play as a raptor in the playoffs.

This is Hedo's 10th year in the NBA. He only avg. 15 plus pts per game twice in his career.
07-08 19.5
08-09 16.8
so far this year 08-09 14.0

Hedo's numbers actually dropped off from 07-08 yr to 08-09 yr hence the reasoning for the Magic not to offer Hedo the cash we did. They saw that he already had peaked, sure they wanted to keep him but hell the money and the years we locked him to was just crazy.Carter has filled Hedo's role with ease and actually upgraded it for the Magic.

Bottom line folkes... what we see in Hedo's play is exactly what is expected. His numbers this year so far are all above his career avg.s Sure we are all so hard on him but hell Hedo has never been a big scorer. He only avg. plus 15 pts twice in his career so what do u expect. Hedo can talk about his role all he wants, maybe he can use that as an excuse why he is not lighting it up. Maybe Hedo is fooling himself....the guy was never a big scorer.....the magic don't miss this guy. Hedo's career is going down hill, don't expect the trend to change it started in Orlando and it has continued in Toronto.Hence this quote," Magic wanted to go in a different direction and it wasn’t money-related. His evidence: the Magic spent more money on other guys. they knew Hedo's best was in the past.

Hedo don't blame the role you are in because it makes you sound like a suck...pick up your socks stop turning the ball over, start making more shots. If you can avg. 15 to 16 pts per game its a great year for you however not worth the money the Raptors paid to sign you.

Are you calling Dalembert athletic? Bosh is way more athletic than Dalembert.
