Exclamation TTC Strike - This Blows For Anyone Going To Today's Game

Ugh .... this is bad for all the people going to today's game who rely on Toronto transit to get the to the ACC and back. It's going to be a nightmare this afternoon and tonight in Toronto.

Gonna hafta take GO Transit today. Union Station (at least from the TTC side) is gonna be closed, so I'm not sure what that means for people trying to drive into parking places like TD Centre and Royal Bank Plaza. Probably easier and more convenient to take the GO.

Couple that with TFC's game today and a Green Conference Happening at the Convention Centre and downtown is gonna be a nightmare.

Do the GO trains bring you right now to Union Station?

Yeah, the GO takes you right into Union, so that's fine, but anyone coming from other parts of the city is going to have a real problem. I hope they left early. People coming from my part of town sometimes drive to Kipling station and then take that in, but that's not going to happen either. Work is going to suck for me on Monday, although I have a carpool group we set up for this sort of thing.

Damn ... we'll I hope people knew about this early this morning because some might have had to start walking at 7am this morning in order to get to the ACC for 3pm.

The Magic should give the TTC the money the are looking for, because this might have an effect on the Red Army...the Raptors crowd.
