Wow.

Is that what he's saying?

I was certian he was screaming at Bosh, Bargnani and ONeal for not sealing thier god damned man on those same passes. Pay attention next game, and you will see exactly why Jose doesn't always toss it in there, it's a turnover waiting to happen.

i see it as 2 points waiting to happen.
but better safe than sorry right?

jay was actually getting pissed off at the amount of jumpshots the team was taking instead of going to the basket.
particulary joey graham.

I was just giving you the gears, don't sweat it.

You were griping about Jose not being able to get the ball into the post the other day which I thought was funny, seeing as you used the fact that the wings were being used instead as your point of reference. I found it funny as that's pretty much worldwide basketball 101, an entry pass from the top of the key gets almost every guard on earth some early Pine time.

if a guy has good post position inside or a guy is slashing through an open lane, and youre at the top of the key, you shouldnt pass him the ball?
this is the NBA and not high school ball.

steve nash must spend every night picking splinters out of his from the bench.
oh wait... the guy starts everygame
and just about every other PG better than jose.

ya ok.

you're very special

You won't because every single assist is either to;

a) A guy who has properly rolled TO the hoop, and not just popped out (Stoudamire is better than Bosh)

b) A guy who is running the floor like a man, and hard. Not one Raptor does this well, therefore there is nobody to pass to often.

c) A guy who has been isolated in the corner or the extended wing who has made a decently timed back door cut.

Nash is in a league all his own, or at least he was the few years he was at his best. He has stated many times that it is his teamates that deserve the credit as they play properly, and the offence is designed around his ability to get the ball to smart, fast up tempo players.

Jose is not Steve Nash, but he is a smart player, who plays a lot mor elike him than a lot of other guys, especially in his ability to get guys the ball when they are open.

The Raptors, well I'm sorry man, but they just aren't anywhere near elite right now.

I wish Sam snapped like that on the bench .... Sam is definitely more intimidating than Jay. I hope the message got through at least.

0:14 theres a pass from the top of the key....
on a fast break but thats whack considering the title of the clip.
plus thats only one game.
but thats nash's game. he gets inside are creates.
something jose doesnt do a lick of.

now youre blaming everyone else on the Raptors because the PG doesnt pass the ball inside.

were definately not an elite team.
but its not like theres nobody for jose to pass it to inside. he just doesnt.
bosh, moon, jo and graham are all viable options.
given those guys take alot of jumpshots, and thats another thing wrong with this team, but they do get to the basket several times a night.
and if jose would pass them the ball it would highlight guys are in the interior trying to get shots more than some people think.

Here's what i thought happened: Nuggets were stuck in the bonus early in the 1/4. Raps failed to capitalize. Instead of driving to the paint they were popping contested jumpers. JT called a timeout, i'm guessing, to stress this point. Right out of the timeout more jumpers (if i recall correctly-Bosh). They just needed to be aggressive. I noticed Jose looked shockingly embarrassed...perhaps for not delivering quickly enough to his bigs while they had established deep-post. Either way i had a lot more respect for Jay after that. His team seemed to be at least marginally more inspired, seeing Joey muscle to the rim shortly after(although he missed).

Actually, he's probably saying "Chris stop jacking up 3's" & "can anyone play some D" or "A defencive rebound here & there would be nice"

Either way Triano's a tool!
