Dude, nobody wants to get rid of players for absolutely nothing. At least one of the following is what will be sought in deals: picks, prospects, and flexibility.
Some teams do that though, just trade players for garbage or a late pick in order to tank.

At this rate, we're going to get something very ugly back for Lowry.

We all know MU will work his magic and get us something good for Lowry. He has never messed up before with Denver for us, so I don't see him messing up anytime soon.

Imo the iguodala was a bit of a mess up since he gave up Afflalo and Iggy left. But at the time nobody could blame him i guess. Look at the season Afflalo us having....damn.

left after MU left, I think AI stays if they keep the GM/coach. After they let everybody go, he was smart to leave, it was getting risky (what if the owners decide to tank now?).

Well teams have their own strategies - like I said at least 1 of the following is always sought: picks, prospects, or flexibility.

I don't have exams or work, and I still don't give a crap. A decision should of been made in the off-season and it wasn't, therefor he can do whatever he wants. This year is a total waste of time anyway. Showcase a few players, and either make the playoffs and go nowhere, or get a pick in the 7-10 range, because we're not tanking good enough to get a top pick nor are we going to start being that bad any time soon. Theres plenty of teams clearly much worse than us.

Or a higher pick by selling off your players for crap.

I can't think of a team that has not gained at least a fraction of any of the things that I have listed in a deal.

I totally forgot about that deal. You are right it was a bit of a mess only because Iggy left. Even if they had resigned him I would probably still question the trade cause like you said Afflalo is having a great year and would have been cheaper to keep than resigning Iggy. Come to think of it the only other trade that you could question was the McGee/Nene trade. McGee has potential, but continues to make to many stupid plays and Nene always seems to get injured, so maybe you could say the trade is even?

Well obviously one of those are going to be gained automatically. But the question is, do you take the first deal avaiable or do you hold out and try to get the best. For example.

Would you have taken the Felton, MWP and 2018 or Shump or Hardaway, which gets rid of lowry to start the tank now.

Or do you hold out on that for something better towards the deadline but your record is now right in the middle. Too many games for a high seed, and too many games to hit the bottom of the tank.

he then signed Mcgee to a massive contract which was questionable
