I think if we don't net Irving or Barnes, just pick the best player available at our draft poistion, suffer another bad year, and look at the next draft. We need more building blocks.

actually kemba walker reminds me of Ben Gordon, he's a shoot first PG who was groomed in UCONN

gordon doesn't see anyone else on the court but himself and plays zero defense, hopefully kemba is not to that extreme but the UCONN connection bothers me in that the game style he's learned to play may be very similar

Walker @10? Are you high? Especially if a couple of the top picks stay in school.

irving is a more explosive PG then walker is. irving distributes more than walker and is willing to run plays. walker is another bayless, i'll pass.

Man, let the dude play... Bibby is not good on D and he is not your pass first PG. How many years is he in the league??? I mean, you never know. Jimmer could turn to be a very good player... He would be the perfect fit for MIAMI HEAT!!! Fuck House!!

It's a real possibility to be honest.

I'd be shocked if he drops past 6-7th. Especially if Barnes and Irving aren't there.

More explosive? Not even close. Kemba has more speed and quickness than Irving by miles. Kemba Walker is averaging more points, assists, rebounds, blocks, and steals. Talk about an overrated player.. Irving is overrated to the max. Irving is good, but not that good. Walker should be the first PG drafted, if Irving is drafted before Walker it'll be completely laughable.

uhhh...he kinda reminds me of jared bayless, both undersized and the way he relentlessly drives to the basket....but hes a much better shooter & dribbler though...also plays decent defense....

Kemba is a shoot-first PG though, Irving is more of an all-around player.

Do you realize Irving has been out all year? How can he be overrated when he hasn't even got a chance to show what he can do. I like both but no way Walker goes before Irving.

Well, some might think he's overrated BECAUSE he hasn't played all year, and he's STILL considered the #1 pick. You pretty much answered your own question.

You can't base stuff on points, assist, etc.

If so Evan Turner should have been drafted over John Wall last year cause he average more points, same assist, more rebounds, and same steals then John Wall.

How is Irving overrated? When healthy he dominated games early at the college level. He has done everything he could. Even when he came back from missing 3months he played pretty well. Let just put it this way the way Irving played early on everybody you talked to said he was teh best player in college BB.

Walker had a great first part of the season, struggle in the middle part of the season(where nobody was even talking about drafting him on here), and is now back to playing great BB again.

Walker is a good prospect though for sure. No doubt about that. Very good prospect. But Irving to me is a great prospect.

He can shoot, speed, great vision, get to the hoop, and is a good defender. Not a great defender but good. He will make you work for your points.

Hes not a shoot first because he has excellent court vision, he always finds the open man. If a guard can score it doesn't mean hes bad, if that was the case then guys like Rose, D-will, and Curry would be bad player, then they are actually all great. To go along with his offensive game, hes also a shutdown defender, something we definitely need along the perimeter .

Well in those 10 games he did play in he showed how smart of a PG he is. Great court vision, he can penetrate and makes right passes, plus he can score. I don't consider him as the #1 pick though because I can see the Cavs taking D. Will first because he has the potential to turn your team around.
