or by BC's intervention, since he said his goal was to acquire that pg of the future.

I agree, his value is high.

Trade him for youth/picks.

They should have traded him the first chance they had.

Something based around Jose for Mayo could prove mutually beneficial. Memphis gets a quality veteran back up PG - albeit at a high price - and the Raps get a creative wing in need of burn. The Grizz are probably looking to shed salary though, not add.

I'd give them anything but Bargnani and Valanciunas for Mayo.

If you think it's frustrating seeing how inconsistent DD is, imagine if we had Mayo. You guys would be calling for a trade every other game (although that's a given).

Mayo is underutilized, in my opinion. He should be starting on another team. He was consistent his first 2 years in the league, when he had a more clearly defined role and more touches. Things started to change when the Grizz picked-up Tony Allen (which was a good pickup).

Portland needs an upgrade at PG with Felton struggling. Felton is in the last year of his contract, which works in the Raps' favour as well.

Calderon would be a really nice fit in Portland's system. He's a more consistent shooter than Felton and turns the ball over less. And with the Blazers having an array of shooters plus LA, Calderon could post some nice numbers.

Calderon for Felton and a lottery-protected first-round pick is what I would offer.

calderon for felton plus lottery pick is what i'd offer, w/o the protection. Though the salaries wouldn't work would they?

Felton for Jose straight up would be great for the raps, and not too bad for Portland either.

You guys are crazy..... you don't make a deal with Portland without getting Batum or Aldridge back.... they want Jose, give them Ed too and we'll take Batum and Felton.
