Let's see, tried something on that machine trade thingy.

TOR-PHI
> Jose, Weems, Kleiza, Amir (+ 1st or 2nd round pick?)
< Iguodala, Williams, Nocioni
PHI gets 2 players in their last year of contract and Calderon's 9mil contract.

TOR-NY
> Jose, Kleiza, Wright
< Curry, Galinari, Rautins
Toronto gets Curry (doesn't resign him, by the way is he playing or what?). Bargns gets an italian friend. Rautins plays in Canada.
Why would NY trade Curry's expiring contract for multi year one of Jose's? I don't know, don't ask me.

TOR-MEM
> DeRozan, Weems, and either Alabi, or Dorsey, or Davis
< Mayo

or
> DeRozan, Weems, Kleiza, (either Alabi, Dorsey, Davis)
< Mayo, Thabeet

Wouldn't give anything less for Mayo if I were the Grizzlies GM.

Bargaining for at least 2nd round pick would be a sensible thing to do for Philadelphia. I mean, you give up two young players, one of whom is on the US national team. Think about it, if people had to chose between buying Kleiza's jersey and buying Iggy's they'd probably go with the latter.

Next, aren't dunks and fastbreak offense what an average NBA spectator expects? You could even call Iggy a poor man's Vince (when he was in his prime). Can you call that anyone on the present roster? Emmm... DeRozan, no not yet. So I don't think adding a pick would hurt that much, especially a 2nd round pick

Derozan & Alabi for Evan Turner & Marreese Speights. Turner is a better defender, able to dribble, and great character and competitor. Toronto needs more perimter defense and more dynamic players who can shoot and get to the rim. Similiar to Bayless, Turner is a competitor who plays hard every night. I find Derozan a deer in headlights in some games, and completely non-factor.

Is Turner older than DD? Speights is not really good enough to play ahead of any of our bigs...

MIN gets : Randolph + barbosa + tpe orlando + tpe toronto+ miami pick.
Orlando gets: tolliver + rautins
Nyk gets : Bargnani + weems + anderson + toronto tpe
Toronto gets : fields + thuiaf + curry + johny flynn.

minessota gets randolph like they want, and a solid sg in barbosa, so they upgrade sg position and get a legit backup PF behind beasley.
and some money and one picks for flynn.

Ny gets Bargnani who will fit very weel along Amar'e. and to project with anderson + weems and some money.
they upgrade their frontcourt.

Orlando gets a prospect Center to backup D12 + a young Guard.
so they be satisfied and don't give up many.

Toronto gets a solid Center, and a tremendous prospect pg + a great sg defensive player with fields.

jose/bayless/flynn
fields/DD/bayless
Kleiza/DD/Wright/peja
Amir/davis/dorsey/evans/peja
thuriaf/curry

on peut vraiment reconstruire uen culture defensive et je pense que l'on peut aller la peche d'autres pivot(center) pour completer le roster.
curry + peja + evans + wright = 35M expiring

trade 2 :

toronto give peja + TPE + toronto picks 2011
Sacramento give thompson + garcia
Portalnd give : miller + oden + money

portland gets peja + garcia + money toronto + toronto first 2011

sacramento gets miller + tpe toronto

toronto gets oden + thompson

portland gets a sg to compensate ROY miss season and a good SF player with peja (also expiring)

sac gets a good pg with miller, and some money.

toronto gets 2 Center, one inured and expiring, but at least it don't matter if he doin't play.

jose/bayless/flynn
fileds/DD/Bayless
kleiza/DD/wright
amir/davis/dorsey/evans
thuriaf/thompson/oden/curry

trade 3 :

toronto give caldy + oden + alabi + a switch pick in 2012
Phili give iguy + speights
charlotte give wallace + diop + collins

phily gets wallace + diop
charlotte caldy + oden + alabi + pick switch.
toronto gets iguy + speights + colluns

phily gets some value for iguy with a solid SF with some defensuive skill. and a true center with Diop. (what they miss)

charlotte get some value from wallce with caldy and oden + alabi ( not so much value but he is a propect) + a switch pick with toronto in 2012.

toronto gets iguy, and they upgrade the SF spot, and a propect center.
the only one huge contract will be iguy, so i'm not worry about it.
buyout curry and we will be fine for the futur.

also we keep our youn core together (amir, DD, bayless, Davis, dorsey and wright + kleiza) and we add some other : thompson + fields + flynn + speights.
next year attention to Raptors, and jay will be more capable with this roster.
defense will be huge and the run and gun will still there. an i-don't-know-what more balance and talented team.

bayless/flynn/collins
fields/DD/iguy
iguy/kleiza/DD/wright
amir/davis/dorsey/evans
thompson/thuriaf/speights
thiese ones, i would want yes !

I would like to see Mayo on the Raps. Outside of him i would like to see Weems gone. and Wright get more minutes. I like what he does at the SF spot.

So I suggest:

Weems and Miami pick to Minny

Flynn and Demar to Memphis

Mayo and Young to Toronto

Bayless/Jose/FA
Mayo/Barbosa/Young
Wright/Kleiza/Peja
Davis/Amir/Evans
Bargs/Dorsey/Alabi

Would still have all the current expirings and Jose our own first to upgrade at end of season or deadline. But roster would be young and very balanced, as well as much more capable defensively.

so basically we're giving Weems and DD for Mayo... would love to find a way to bring mayo in and hold DD though...

gotta give toget, and Mayo is better than Demar at almost every single thing.

Demar has a bit of potential, but personally if at the end of their career Demar is considered the better player I would be absolutley shocked

You may be right... and if put to the test, I'd say it's a decent deal for Toronto and Memphis. Would nice to be able to hold DD too. I think Weems has value in that he is affordable and athletic and Sam Young is not worth much on this team. Ideally I'd like a Weems and pick for Mayo deal.... maybe it's not enough though.

balance.

Defense.

Heart.

Hustle.

I would prefer a talent upgrade over him but someone with the same style of skills.

Kleiza is reduntant in terms of skills paired with Mayo and Bargs, Wright brings something totally different and therfore lends more balance.

Why not? He brings more to the table than Kleiza and Weems.

Wright is doing exactly what we need him to do. The moment we ask for more. Is when we will get dissapointed.

not saying wright should start and play 40 minutes per, but having him start with his defense can certainly throw some of the better sf off at the start of games, and that is a good thing.
