Default Toughest Player

Who is the toughest player to ever play considerable time in Toronto?

Where do you think Reggie Evans will fit into your list of toughest Raptors players by season end?

lol no contest who was the toughest raptor hence the lopsided poll results. Hopefully Reggie can be the second coming of the Oak.

To be fair, the toughest guy, if were talking fights and all that, was Hoffa.

But after that, Garbajosa, then Oakley.

Anyone who has watched Garbo's injury closely would see this. Dude, screamed in rage, not pain!!!

Oak talked pretty tough, and punched some skinny kid in the mouth in the shoot around.... So I like him, too.

I love JYD but Oak Man was the toughest son of a bitch and he doesn't give a fuck what anybody thinks of him.

Garbo actually had the wherewithal to turn around, wave for help, and then scream in rage. It was pretty impressive. We really missed him in that NJ series.

As usual we need some criteria or a better definition.

Garbo and Alvin were the toughest in terms of playing through injury, willingness to risk their careers and quality of life for the game.

Keon was a bad mofo I wouldn't want to meet on the street.

Oak was the no nonsense enforcer.

I voted for Davis though because in my mind he had all of the qualities of toughness that really help the team win games. He was obviously physically strong, even for his size he banged with the best of them and carried us to the playoffs the one season Vince went down at the end. He was no nonsense in the locker room, workmanlike attitude and fiercely protective of his family.

It's a fine list, but by the definition I assumed, I vote AD.

I'm curious who people were thinking about when they vote "other"?

Hitting some dude in the face is not necessarily tough. One could understand this best by searching for Melo on Youtube.

I'm talking overall toughness. As in the ability to handle pain, handle mental stress, play tough and rough and play with courage.

Yeah, TJ was tough. I knew I was going to forget someone. If there is a MOD observing this it would be cool if you added TJ. If not then that is also cool, just not as much.

Oak.
the man personafied toughness.
you can be strong, injury free, able to battle every night... but when guys on the other team are afraid of you and back away from playing dirty with you or your superstar because they know you will mess them up, then that trumps all.
putting fear and respect in the minds of the other team, oak had that down perfectly.

I have to say Jorge Garbajosa. I don't really remember watching Oak play so I guess I can't choose him but Jorge was sick. Really tough and sadly his toughness led to him not playing in the NBA

That's right. I only listed the obvious choices by name.
