Default Toronto Sun: Shaq vs. Chris "RuPaul " Bosh

Quote:
Chris Bosh doesn't plan on going fist city with Shaquille O'Neal tomorrow night at the Air Canada Centre when the Raptors open up the regular season against the Cleveland Cavaliers. But one gets the impression that he is still somewhat miffed by O'Neal's comments last season, when he described the good-natured Raptors forward as "the RuPaul of big men." O'Neal added that he was going to make Bosh quit when his plays him next (tomorrow). "It's what I do," Shaq said. But while Bosh brushed aside suggestions that O'Neal's words have increased his motivation, there still obviously is some resentment lingering.

Please please please Bosh... just go out there, bust your ass, and do whatever it is that you can do to get your team a victory.

The best way to respond to any talk is to answer back with a win on the court.

Totally agree, and absolutely PERFECT way to start the season. Team captain busts his ass and beats last years #1 ranked team in the East.

They'll also be super confident and the team will rally behind him!!!

COME ON BOSH!!

He won't.

He'll get 20 and 10 from jumpers and ticky tack fouls, changing absolutely nothing on the face of the game, cruising to a 20 point loss with a whimper.

Calderon will fight Lebron.

Makes sense to me.

nothing has been any different from that for the past 300 or so games, why should a change come now?

Unless of course Anderson shuts him down and he goes for 15 and 5

Let's not rewrite history. Shaq was one of the most dominant forces ever in NBA history, and was the clear MVP of those three Laker championships. The only reason he can't back up his words these days is because he's 37 years old, which in Center years is like 50.

Well, it's time for Bosh to show us this "new and improved Bosh". This supposed aggressive, stronger Bosh who doesn't wilt and whine against the Shaqs, KGs, and Sheeds of the league. It's either that or let Shaq eat him like so much BBQ chicken.
