I remember adams having a vicious dunk on us when he was playing in NJ. I thkn they used to call him Hassasin or something like that ... I know I was shocked they let him go, because he was a rotation player making less than a million per year ...

How do long do you think it'll be until somebody crosses the line and makes a Saddam Hussan joke?

I love how Joey Graham is so shitty we need to unload him, but despite that he's still good enough to get us future picks.

Joey in the 4 spot plays extremely well. Look at his numbers when he plays the PF position. If we can convert him into a Corliss Williamson type of player, I think he still has some value and upside. I think he's not sharp enough to play the SF position which requires him to do a little more on the court as he's really a bridge between the guard and forward spots (i.e. you need to know what to do as a guard and a forward).

So yes, he's got value.

And why are we so crazy about Pietrus here? He doesn't play good defense and he's kind of a chucker. So why target him?

He is still young and learning the NBA game....potential through the roof....great size and enough athletic ability to at least stay with the other team's 2/3 (the position that usually kills the raps)..

I agree he is streaky/raw on the offensive end but would good value for the MLE if possible

He just reminds me of Mo Pete. All potential but will he ever cash it in? Plus, if he didn't really do anything in Nellie's anything goes offence, it kinda throws up some red flags for me.

Another thing. I'm predicting that with O'Neal bringing a great deal of help on the defensive end they're going to move Kapono back into the starting five. Kapono played great ball in the playoffs and he's going to get a lot of open shots with two players good enough to justify double teams with him.
