Default Toronto Interested In Noah S&T, Not Lee Or Beasley

RealGM: Basketball Wiretap Archives: Toronto Interested In Noah S&T, Not Lee Or Beasley

The Raptors are said to have little interest in David Lee in a sign-and-trade given Lee cannot play center and Toronto needs a center to complement Andrea Bargnani.

Toronto also would not be interested in any type of sign-and-trade deal with Miami, as they are not interested in Michael Beasley.

The Raptors would be interested in Joakim Noah, should Bosh agree to a move to Chicago.

good, they are actually thinking properly about this.
if Bosh leaves, we already have Bargs as a PF and will need a center, preferrably a young center who can grab rebs.
i would love to see Noah in a raps uni.

Calderon/Bargnani for Hinrich/Noah and whatever to make contracts match.

Been asking for this since the summer.

Strictly speaking Noah would compliment Bargnani better than Bosh does, but i'd rather keep Bosh than Bargnani.

Bosh for Joakim Noah would be the downfall of the raptors.

Noahs overrated. I want some draft picks from crap teams instead.

Noah is a solid player and the kind of guy I'd like to get in a Raps uniform, but Bosh for Noah more or less straight up is a ripoff. There'd need to be a lot more coming our way.

Its all hypothetical, but I'm not against Toronto looking into what might be available if their hand is forced by Bosh for a S&T. But it wouldn't be straight up as there would be other players involved since Bosh would sign for the max and Chicago would have to match that contract. So maybe for a mix of Deng, Hinrich and Noah or Brad Miller?

I'd take Noah over those other two players. Ultimately i would love to see a deal that would see Lopez/Harris coming to Toronto. Too bad Bosh would likely want no part of NJ.

Even it was Noah and Deng, Chicago Bulls will be the winner. NBA is all about star players. The Bulls would now have have the best 2 players from both teams. Rose & Bosh would be very scary, probably the best duel in the NBA.

a lot of picks would be needed + taking one of our bad contracts
this would only be okay if it were a last resort
star players win in the NBA

I agree, but at the same time it's not like we can trade Bosh for another Bosh. No matter what trade we would make we'd lose it because they'd get the best player in the deal. I'm hoping to get two solid players and a pick in return.

The two teams i would want to deal with are GSW (any package incl two of Ellis, Randolph,Morrow, Biedrins???), and NJ (Lopez, Harris???)

NJ is extremely unlikely, but the GSW options look pretty good.... Ellis as our closing scorer? I like the sound of that. Biedrins alongside Bargnani definitely solidifies our interior defence... leave out Randolph, he will always be potential. Morrow will be hard to pry from them, maybe a draft pick and we can throw in one of our three pg's... I don't care which one cause they are all middle of the road pg's.

I haven't seen Biedrins on the court for almost 2 years now, way too many injuries
Bosh and Caldy for Ellis and Curry
