you know, the Houston Rockets have reminded me of a handful of bold statements made by users here. They aren't all related to Harden either, althouth the Rockets are implicated. It's way too early for people to say they were wrong; we're only 2 games into the season. But, seriously, if the Rockets continue to do well, with Harden and Lin continuing their solid play, a few people wrote some things that were really out of line; they spoke way too soon.

TOrap will come out looking good, though, because he has a boner for Lin.

Lin looks really good as well. The back court duo of Harden and Lin is sexy, both as still young and locked up for a while. Hopefully the Rockets do well, esp sucks since they just lost Yao a while back.

I have to admit... Harden has shocked me. Had no idea he was THIS good. Right about now OKC must be wondering what they could have got for Westbrook lol.

And yeah.... that Lin guy isn't too bad at all.

im not too sure how long harden can beast up in houston as a primary scorer. Sooner or later teams will gameplan for him and could see him getting terrible fg%

Re: Harden

Just an anecdote.

I don't know if people here remember, but, before last year's playoffs, the NBA GMs were surveyed regarding who they'd keep if financial complications forced them to trade one of Westbrook or Harden. Most said they'd keep Harden.

Of course, that survey was conducted before Harden laid an egg in the finals and Westbrook had a few huge performances against the Lakers, Spurs and Heat. So, the results might have been different if the survey was done over the summer.

Need to see how the season plays out! There were statments involving Lin, Harden and Morey that could all require some eating of words!

Gee ya think? lol

All he has to do is feed Harden at least 8 times a game and he'll be a double double player anyway though.

there was talk early last season of a trade involving westbrook for rondo, when the Cs were really struggling for scoring and rondo had a sluggish start.

rondo/harden/durant/ibaka/anyone

That lineup would have beaten MIA last season and probably would have been a dynasty.

Srsly. 4 players that compliment one another PERFECTLY.

Going to the C's probably would have made Westbrook a better player too. Doc, KG and Pierce have enough clout to set him straight when he gets out of hand. Brooks and Durant don't.

I know this is too soon to say but trading Bargnani isn't looking so terrible right now. Eddy D has come into his own lately, if he keeps up these performances, and we can trade Bargnani for a scoring/defender small forward, I say go for it. I've always supported him, and still will, but soon I think I will eat my words. I'll give him a couple more games
