Patience a virtue when Raps meet Nuggets

Quote:
"The key for us is we have to play defence. We can't play into their hands. When the game gets fast, it's real tempting to get up and down and shoot quick shots. We have to make sure we take good, quality shots and get back on defence."

Bosh's presence in the post at least gives the Raptors a chance of slowing the game's pace by dumping the ball into the paint.
Drive it, you Raptors

Quote:
The jump-shot happy, perimeter-prone Raptors have a tendency of not attacking the basket, drawing fouls and getting to the free throw line.

About the only player who draws fouls on a consistent basis and makes trips to the charity stripe is Chris Bosh.

During Friday's loss in Cleveland, Bosh was the only player to get to the foul line.

Jose Calderon took a free throw, but it came as a result of an illegal defence to the Cavs.

"We got to attack the basket a little bit more,'' Jamario Moon said in a mild understatement.

"The way our offence is, we tend to get a lot of open looks," Moon said.

Nash may go from hardcourt to Hollywood

Quote:
But Nash is a man of many talents and wide-ranging interests. His latest off-the-court tour de force is a Nike commercial that isn't really a commercial but rather an artful 81-second summation of a day in his life while visiting New York. Only at the end does the trademark Nike swoosh appear.
Quote:
According to a report in the Arizona Republic, the ad has become one of the latest viral sensations on YouTube, drawing more than 450,000 views, and counting.

Nash pitched it, wrote it, hired the director and produced the compelling little 16-millimetre feature titled Training Day on a shoestring budget of about $30,000.
Plan to slow Nuggets not easily done

Quote:
In an attempt to stop his team from getting into a shot-for-shot showdown with the explosive Denver Nuggets folly for a team built like the Raptors coach Sam Mitchell figures he'll be out of his coaching chair more than usual.

"You'll probably see me stand up a lot more for that game and try to slow things down a little bit," Mitchell said yesterday.

DENVER at TORONTO

Quote:
Spotlight on T.J. Ford: In the last two games, the point guard has 11 assists and one turnover. He is efficient and electric. "He's incredibly quick with the ball, very dangerous," Nuggets coach George Karl said. "T.J. can take the game over for a 10-minute stretch." Ford has been sharing time at the point with Jose Calderon. They have become a dangerous, versatile duo.

She's obviously hiding some flaw.

Those are her legs? I thought those were just some extra strings hanging down from the skirt. My bad.

Maybe she just had casts removed form each leg and is suffering from atrophy?
