Big Bosh Man primed to take on King James

Quote:
"I'm just trying to get my legs back under me," a sweat-soaked Bosh said. "That's my mission every practice day."
Quote:
Despite Cleveland's recent moves to add shooting and depth, LeBron James is still the key to everything Cleveland does. Toronto coach Sam Mitchell referred to James as "him," no actual name required.

Q: I know everyone says Bosh-TJ-Andrea are the core of this team and are pretty "untradeable" but in light of Andrea's up and down (mostly down) year and TJ's inability to play off the bench do you think if the Raps were offered decent players with decent salaries for these either TJ or Andrea, should the Raps move on it? Say a Maggette, from the clips for TJ and a pick. Or say the players coming back are a bit older (28-30)...would/should the Raps move on it? If they wait another year and Andrea and TJ struggles their trade value may never recover... thoughts?

A: Id certainly move Ford before Id move Bargnani but, in a perfect world, Ford comes to accept a backup role and they have the two point guards back. But Im now not sure the world can be perfect.

I dont think Bryan is ready to give up on Bargnani, so to even think about possibilities seems futile.

Bynum could return before playoffs

Quote:
On Tuesday, however, Lakers coach Phil Jackson told the Times that Bynum would be out for the remainder of the regular season.

"I threw that out there to kind of take everything off the table," Jackson said. "We're (now) saying it was three weeks as of (last) Sunday."

Bynum, who is averaging 13.1 points and 10.2 rebounds per game, suffered the injury against the Memphis Grizzlies on January 13.

Tilt with LeBron a likely playoff preview

Quote:
"A confident team can be completely different team than a team that isn't quite sure," said Anthony Parker, who will likely be guarding James tonight. "It's that split-second of hesitation that decides ball games, in a lot of cases."
Quote:
"They don't scare me, but we know that they're good," Bosh said. "I respect them a lot. I think they're a good basketball team and I think we're a good basketball team and we match up well against them. Our bigs are quicker. Andrea and I are going to make [Ilgauskas] step out a little bit."

Celtics defeat Mavericks

Quote:
Ray Allen was sitting on the bench in the fourth quarter, arms crossed and a black shirt over his jersey. He was forced to watch James Posey take his place, just like he'd done the last few nights in Houston and San Antonio.

With 1:54 left, Allen finally got in. And with 31.7 seconds to go, he nailed the three-pointer that capped a fun few days in the Lone Star State
