T-Wolves easy prey for Raps

Quote:

Once the Raptors began to play defence last night and once they found their shooting rhythm, this wasn't so much a case of whether the home side would win, but rather by how much.
Original Rap returns

Quote:

A member of the expansion Raptors and the team's first captain, Pinckney was holding court as the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves conducted their pre-game routine.
Magloire signs with Mavericks

Quote:

The Dallas Mavericks have signed Toronto-native Jamaal Magloire to add depth at centre that has been missing since DeSagana Diop went to New Jersey in the trade for Jason Kidd.

Raptors cruise past T-Wolves

Quote:

The fact the Raptors missed 15 of 18 three-pointers, the fact they allowed the Wolves to shoot 50 per cent from the field to 49 per cent for Toronto really doesn't matter. A win is a win is a win and the Raptors now have 32 of them this season, putting them a game ahead of the pace set in last season's 47-win campaign.
Quote:

"Right now everybody is healthy, we've got 14 guys ready to play," said Calderon. "We've got different speeds and everybody is ready to play. When we go with I don't like to say first or second units when we go with the guys who are not starting, they play the same level, even more energy, it's almost the same.

"That's why when some guys are struggling, they come in and play at the same level so it's good,'' Calderon added.

Raptors notch another big win

Quote:

Those who put a lot of faith in statistical projections weigh margin of victory as a strong indicator of future performance. In their five previous games, the Raptors' average point differential was 11.6, third in the NBA behind the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets, who, with winning streaks of nine and 13 games, respectively, are the hottest teams in the NBA.

WOLVES GET A WHIPPING

Quote:

The Raptors, who are shooting a league-best 42% from beyond the arc this year, hit just three of their 18 three-balls last night. Thanks to an efficient 24-for-28 performance from the free-throw line -- and some help from their lowly opposition -- the Raptors coasted to yet another easy victory.

"On nights where we're making 10 or 12 threes, we're going to score a lot more points and beat teams even worse," said Chris Bosh, who hit one of those three long-balls. He finished with a game-high 28 points. "But it's good to know when we're not shooting the ball well, we can still win in a dominating fashion."
Celtics take advantage of injured James

Quote:

Boston Celtics took advantage of a hobbled and inaccurate LeBron James in a 92-87 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.

James sprained his right ankle with over four minutes left in the first half while landing after making a lay-up. X-rays were negative and he returned to start the second half, scoring a dunk in the third quarter to become the youngest player in NBA history to record 10,000 career points.

24 hours later, Wolves pull a 180 in Toronto

Quote:

"We scored so easy and so often early, we fell into a false sense of whatever," Wolves coach Randy Wittman said.

Either that or the Raptors awoke to extend a stretch where their last eight victories have been by an average of 25.6 points. Either way, the Wolves stopped moving the ball with ease and began turning it over, 14 times by halftime, 19 times by game's end.

For a city that has so many different nationalities, we dont see enough of the "foreign" beauty.

She looks Indian or Iranian or whatever. I'll take her over a bleach blond in a Leafs jersey anyday.

Belsius 02-28-2008 11:45 AM

it should be "como esta usted". But you normally say "como estas" or "que tal estas" , or if you are in most latin america it would be "como esta" or "que tal esta".

Now 10 dollars for the lesson.:D

That girl isputting a smile on some lucky guys face everyday.

But just remember.

For every girl out there that looks like that, there is a man that is tired of banging her.

So, now, you young men do your duty, and go out there and find women like these and help out your fellow man by taking them off thier hands and making these women smile.

;)
