No shame in that!

Quote:
"The one thing we tried to do a little bit less is look for Jose (Calderon) in transition," Triano said. "If you rebound the ball, you are allowed to push it up yourself and see if we can beat guys down the floor. Jose is a great shooter, so if he runs the wing and a big has to go out and guard him, he is going to be able to get an isolation play like he did late in the game where he can shoot over top of a guy."
Fearsome frontcourt

Quote:
The Raptors' frontcourt was front and centre yesterday at the Air Canada Centre.

It wasn't exactly the most traditional way of dominating a game, but the latest look of Toronto's frontline looked awfully good.

There was Andrea Bargnani putting the ball on the floor and getting to the foul line with regularity.

There was the irregularity of Shawn Marion and Chris Bosh combining to make exactly one trip to the charity stripe.

But Toronto's three-headed monster worked because each piece played to its strength.

Raptors' double-doubles topple Knicks

Quote:
Marion's knack for getting the ball off the boards and going, his ability to make passes in traffic on the offensive end and his infectious effort carried throughout the roster.

"When he breaks out and runs, it's very confusing for the defence," said Chris Bosh, who had 11 points and 12 rebounds. "We want to free him up, that's the reason that he's here.

"We just want him to play his game. I think he came out a little tentative the first couple of games (since arriving from Miami in the Jermaine O'Neal trade) but he didn't really know it. But today he looked a lot more comfortable."

Raptors bounce back

Quote:
The Raptors also had a season-high 29 fast-break points, after entering the game averaging an NBA-worst eight per game.

Raptors get quick revenge on Knicks

Quote:
"It's just all about making the effort to do it," said Chris Bosh, who had 11 points and 12 rebounds. "At first, sometimes we kind of just get on the break and we have a chance to do it, but we kind of slow it up. Our team, we play our best when we're running the floor. We shoot at a high percentage when we're not necessarily shooting quickly, but taking the first good shot that we have."

"Let's keep it on this channel right now," Bosh said. "That's what we have to do."

Larry Hughes struggles in debut as Raptors take revenge on Knicks

Quote:
Harrington led the Knicks with 31 points, David Lee added 17 points and 15 rebounds and Robinson scored 12 of his 18 in the fourth quarter. It was Robinson's alley-oop dunk that gave the Knicks a 68-67 lead with 5:20 remaining in the third quarter. But Anthony Parker, who was caught sleeping on the play, was angry at himself for the mistake and took his frustration out on the Knicks. Over the last 4:38 of the quarter, Parker scored 11 points and the Raptors never trailed again.

I always see the post count of these threads and i think maybe there is some decent basketball based discussion going on.

and every single time it's just comments about the girl. when will i learn?

anyways, i concur. today's SSG is a good one.

I saw some more pictures of her on the Sun website and you are right she is brown, which is not a bad thing and probably is Latina. Her name is Nelly and she likes guys who work out, don't drink and don't smoke.
