Raps get Pierce-d in Boston

Quote:
But the cocky Celtics were unfazed. They rubbed in their win with a showboating alley-oop from Rondo to Leon Powe in the final couple of seconds.

"That's unsportsmanlike. That's unnecessary," said Bosh. "You have the game won with two seconds left, just dribble the clock out, shake hands and just leave. But (Rondo) is a young guy, so he's going to have to learn."

Added Anthony Parker, similarly ticked: "That's something you'll remember."

Late dunk upsets Raps

Quote:
Kris Humphries, who was not on the floor for the end of the game did not seem the least bit surprised that one of the Celtics would behave that way.

"They operate as an organization and do what they do," Humphries said, "but every organization that I have been a part of would not do that. I think that's a team attitude."
Piercing blow

Quote:
"We shot ourselves in the foot tonight," Bosh said after the Raptors blew a 10-point lead in the third quarter, rallied to force overtime but then were no match for the Celtics in the extra frame as they went on to lose 115-109.

"There were a couple of rotations that we made mistakes on," Bosh said. "We gave up a couple of layups and on one we left the hottest guy on the court, Paul Pierce, wide open. Out of everybody, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen seem to get open at the wrong time."
Triano sticks with Will

Quote:
As for Calderon doing any further damage to the hamstring with his limited court time yesterday, Triano didn't think that was the case.

"It didn't sound like there was any more damage," he said. "It just sounds like he wasn't ready to go 100% and if you don't go 100% in this league you're going to get exploited."

Bargnani's late heroics wasted as Celtics win in OT

Quote:
Bosh, who has had a tough time finding his offence against Boston over the last two years, seemed to be on his way to breaking out of that for most of the game. He was not getting a bunch of open looks, but he was converting the ones he got.

But when Garnett returned to the floor with eight minutes remaining in regulation, Bosh, and his teammates, went cold. At that time, Toronto led 84-82. Over the next six minutes, the Celtics eked out an 8-0 run and Bosh did not hit another field goal.

Celtics complete sweep of Toronto

Quote:
"It was tougher than maybe it should have been, but to win back-to-back games in the league during the regular season - historically, it's a split," Rivers said. "It's like playing a doubleheader. And we won them both, so I'll take them."
Pierce put the hurt on Raptors

Quote:
"When you see Paul going like he's going," Garnett said, "you try to let him just take care of the buckets and I'll take care of the defense at least. Let that man score."

Rivers says it's become Pierce's calling card.

"There's players who play the game and there's players who absolutely love the game," Rivers said. "Paul's one of those love guys.

"First of all, he's tough as nails, plus he has such a love for the game. He's able to play through pain because of the love for the game and it's clear."

Aw, she's purty.

And the guys will appreciate the fact that she's already in position.

What a nice lady!

I wanted to make a joke about the position but this is a family forum

All those Pierce analogies are getting old. Why didn't Jake injure him?

I was convinced last night that Devlin (was it Devlin?) was calling him 'Penis' the whole time.

I stand by that.

Did she fall? Don't these people know how to pose? They're in the woods in a bikini or on some dirty white box.

Yeah, I love Jose, but he has been terrible this year. Thats one thing called objetivity. I cant stand Moon but I dont dedicate all my post to bash him. I accept people critizising him, like I do with Calderon and others. But I wont accept anybody with an obsesision coverting every fucking thread in this forum into a Calderon hate fest.
Enough is enough.
