Bosh boosts all-star bid

Quote:
Credit Chris Bosh for a lot of that on the offence. He tormented Curry and every other big man, and some little men, that Thomas could throw at him in a 40-point, 11-rebound effort that can only help his all-star chances in a few week's time when the full team is announced.
Let's try it again

Quote:
A little more than a year ago, Sam Mitchell wanted to know what he had in Andrea Bargnani so he gathered all his bigs threw a ball in the middle of the court one off day and basically said "Go get it."
Quote:
"We did it yesterday," Mitchell said of the drill adding it will become an every day staple of Raptors practice for the foreseeable future.

"We're going to do that drill every day we practice until he gets better at it, that's all I know," Mitchell said yesterday.
Do-over for Heat-Hawks

Quote:
The Hawks and Miami Heat must replay the final 51.9 seconds of their game last month because the NBA said the official scorer ruled incorrectly that Shaquille O'Neal fouled out. It will be the first time since 1982 the league has sent teams back on the court for a replay.

Bosh sinks 40 to beat Knicks

Quote:
With Bosh coming within three points of his career high and Toronto ran its record to 19-17, won its second straight game. Jamario Moon and Anthony Parker each had 13 points, the only other Raptors in double figures as they rode Bosh’s to the win.
Raptors a one-man wrecking crew

Quote:
"We wanted to kind of put the pressure on them," Bosh said. "We know the crowd wasn't going to be that friendly (toward the Knicks) if we jumped on them quick and that's kind of what happened."

Bosh has Knicks seeing stars

Quote:
Another question was how loud the "Fire Isiah" chants were going to get in the Garden. They started early but were quieted somewhat as the Knicks rallied late to cut the Raptors lead to seven with a minute to play.

SLAM DUNK

Quote:
Toronto's Westin Harbour Castle has once again teamed with the Toronto Raptors to offer basketball fans a Raptors Game Night package. Guests receive overnight accommodation and two end-zone tickets to a Raptors home game(worth more than $160). Rates start at $269 a room, per night, plus taxes and gratuities. Reservations must be made 72 hours in advance. The package is available for all regular-season home games through April.

Bosh leads way with 40 points against Knicks

Quote:
Randolph was still in his uniform on the bench for the second half, but Thomas did not give him any playing time.

The Knicks, meanwhile, failed to emphasize Curry in the offence. He took just five shots in the game, despite a history of prolific games against Toronto. He wound up with six points.

ZACH EXCHANGE

Quote:
After Randolph was yanked with 7:35 left in the second after bowling over his man on a baseline drive for an offensive foul, he came to the bench seething, his palms upward, asking Thomas why he was being pulled. Thomas and Randolph exchanged words briefly before Eddy Curry , also benched, pushed Randolph forward, away from Thomas.

Thomas said afterward the speed of Toronto was too much for Randolph.

Yeah, but the people that choose them are all in the 50's and 60's, so I guess this is their definition of good looking unfortunately.
