Exclamation TJ to be on Chuck Swirsky Show Today 3:05pm

So yesterday was apparently a tease, but rumour has it he's on now or shortly. Someone check and could some please provide a summary for those who can listen to it? Thanks

Now he's coming on in 15 minutes. It sounded like he was just about to come on.

I can wait 15 minutes though.

•He's doing good.

•He first learned of the possible move Sunday. But he's heard rumblings since the beginning of June.

•He left his exit interview knowing that he was probably gone. They had mentioned that they had some decisions to make, and so he knew something was going to happen, and he could read a lot more into things through the media.

•He never demanded or requested a trade at any point, or expressed any negative feelings. It was just the way the season went and the overall situation.

•What transpired with the Jose TJ thing? He doesn't think it had anything to do with players taking sides. It came down to the fans, as far as he could tell. He could tell that Jose was more of a fan favorite. And he felt like he was depicted as a problem in the media.

•Was the media unfair? He says he thought the media made their choice, and reflected the voice of fans to large degree, and he wouldn't deny anybody's opinion, or hold anything against anybody in the media.

•He feels that the most erroneous thing was the idea that he didn't want to play in Toronto. He blames losing and the team not reaching expectations for that kind of thing happening.

•The chemistry was different last season. It was tougher to get the most out of everybody.

•He never had a problem or disagreement with Jose. He was a bit shocked by some of the things Jose said while in Spain.

•He's excited about the change and the possibilities with his new team.

•He just wants to play and win, and it doesn't matter now that he's definitely the number one pg in Indiana.

•Against Orlando he wishes he would have performed better in the first two games, but overall he felt ok. It would have been nice to hit more shots early in the series, but they were still in those games.

•He's taken two weeks off and now he's back into his routine of workouts.

•He's surprised about DJ Augustine getting picked by Charlotte, and is glad that he'll get to play under Larry Brown.

•He loves Toronto, but it was hard getting criticized although he realizes it comes with being a player.

That's it. He sounded a bit emotional, but also maybe a bit relieved that he knows what he's looking at for the near future.

No problem. I think he has been battling himself as much as anything. I think what happened in Milwaukee was tough on him, and he was actually starting to finally get past that, but not enough to really put things here in the proper perspective.

Good bye and good luck, TJ. And, frankly - good riddance.

So long as JO is healthy and plays even at 80% of his All-Star level, I am going to happier than a pig in shit. I just wish we could get Rasho back somehow...

Shocked by what Jose said?

Why?

Did it scare him that Jose was no longer sucking his dick and was standin gup for himself?

Anyhow, whatevs, I like Ford, I hope he excels in Indiana.

He was shocked that Jose would basically come out and say that he didn't want to play with TJ, and that Jose ended up saying the same things that he got nailed to the wall for. I think he was surprised by the personal nature of the remarks mostly. And he sounded like he was trying to put all that out there to show that it's all relative. The bottom line is he knew he had to move on, Jose knew TJ had to move on, and poor language skills on behalf of both them aside, TJ is now moving on.

Whatever.

Ford was nothing less than a selfish dick at times.

I'm glad Jose finally spoke up about it.

He said he couldn't see himself playing while TJ was here, or at least that's how it sounded. What he meant was probably that something was going to have to be done with the "situation".

And he said that he HAD to be a starter and nothing less, which is kinda what TJ said. And yes there was an over-reaction to that.

It's the same thing, however, the difference is this.

Ford did it at a crucil time during the season when what the team needed was unity and a solid team core going into a playoff race, and then ultimately a run in the playoffs. There isn't a man alive that could tell me Jose wanted to sit on the bench, but he did,and he kept his mouth shut, cheered, waved towels, and passed out Gatorade while Ford got his wishes and STILL pouted everytime he was subbed out.

When the season ended, from what were told, Jose and Ford were both fed up with the situation. They knew there was a change coming, and Jose wanted to e a Raptor, so he stepped up and made it known. IN THE OFFSEASON.

Thats a huge difference.

You know we'll beat Indiana everytime we see them now as Tj. scores 35 on Jose looking to show him up, while Jose finishes each game with 10 points and 15 assists.

I'm sure Ford will have learned a bit from last season, both about himself, and about what it is to be a Profesional. He's gonna be ok I think, so I am happy for the young man, but we cannot forget what really happened.
