I'm not saying that Davis should be our starter .. he is at best a potentially decent bench player (not even sure if he is at that level yet).

You get what you get with Bargs ... talent, teasing excellent performance, and inconsistency.

Time to close this chapter and make a trade. Get some young PF wtih talent and a possible draft pick. My reasoning with the PF is that there seems to be more available players at this position. Would love a 3, but not sure how to convert Bargs in a trade to a suitable 3 that will help us.

Sorry Bargs ... hope it would of worked here in Raptorland
Well said :deadhorse:

I like the idea of an expiring, but would really like to see a pick in there as well.

adding Bargs automatically means that team won't make the playoffs. no way anyone is trading a guaranteed lottery pick for andrea!

+1

I was flammed last season when I said I was aprehensive to get too excited over his play because he's never been consistent. This shows why.

The Raptors can make the playoffs without Andrea and its not like they have made it with him being the focal point of the offense.

Whether they get an expiring, lottery pick or not,its time to move on from him. Other players will step up through his minutes.

Paul Millsap is a great expiring fit. I also think Toronto would have a good shot at resigning him too.

I wasn't meaning to be that greedy. I was thinking more of a mid to late first rounder. Basically I'd just like to see us get a pick instead of give up a pick for once. I guess I should be happy knowing we can't give up a pick.

Maybe a 3 way deal. BOS does Green for Chandler I think, especially considering they'd save lux tax money. Smart move for them with their defensive struggles without KG this year. Bargs for Green is a move that feels right from our end, gives us a more defensively responsible PF and changes the bedsheets. Then Den doing Chandler for Bargs is the key part of it. They do need another shooter and Karl might be missing the "Al Harrington role". They might have to be compensated with throwing in Davis or a few 2nds or both
