We've already tried overpaying for mediocrity - nope, doesn't work.

We have to pay for the super-stars and stars, and those don't really come our way via FA or trades. Hence - draft them, build around them and pay them to stay.

Ideally we get a top pick this year and a top pick next year and in the 3rd year of our suckage, we land in the 8-11 pick range and toss that one to OKC. We need a top 1-2 pick this year and the next or we're done for.

The only way its getting blown up is if BC and his staff get dismissed. I'm pretty sure BC has a plan, whether we see it now or not so were all just gonna have to sit back and watch. One thing I know and like about Colangelo is that he's not afraid to make a move. The only question now is,will it be the right one(s)?

Another thing I've noticed about BC is that he is not usually making big moves during the season since he's been here. He tends to enjoy doing most significant moves in the summer. It should be interesting to see what happens in the next 4-5 weeks if we don't get out of this funk. Two more wins (5-10) and there isn't half as much panicing around here). Lol

Our w/l mean nothing, the play of this team has been total garbage. Were lucky to have any wins.

Please! I would say they should have 5-6 wins. They've played better than their record.

If they team is smart they trade Lowry this summer IMO. Lowry is a win now player who has to be paid. The fit for him isn't Toronto, it's a team like Utah or Atlanta

Trade Lowry and Bargs and unleash the tanks in 2014, which is a high school class on the level of the Rose/Love/etc. one. Wiggins, Parker, Gordon, Hill, Hezonja and Andrew Harrison woud all deserve to go #1 if they came out in 2013 IMO

How can you say that after watching this team? This team is horrible. We're lucky we're not 2-13 right now. Our last win came off scoring 5 points in the 4th quarter.

I just hope Washington gets a win before we face them. As it sits right now we're the 2nd worst team in the NBA and deservedly so.

You think I'm the only one that's said that? This team should have 5-6 and I stand by that. Al Jefferson hitting his first 3pt shot in 6yrs and that non-call vs the Cats should have been wins. That alone gives us 5 wins.

With all due respect, and I respect your opinion, both of those losses came down to those crap situations due to 4th quarter meltdowns. Those happen to terrible teams. We're a terrible team right now, unfortunately. I'd give us maybe 1 more win tops. I don't count that 'Cats loss as anything because refs never make the call with 1 second left.

Our offensive efficiency is dreadful and our team defense is the pits.

well said...only crap teams get themselves into these boxes...play better in third and fourth quarter to avoid being close at crunch time...

With the first overall pick, the Toronto Raptors select Nerlens Noel from Kentucy.

OR

With the second overall pick, the Toronto Raptors select Shabazz Muhammad from UCLA

I'm a little worried this may be the most likely scenario.

I'm looking at draft lottery of the past 5 years, the second worst team has fell out of the top 3 3/5 times. If I were to guess we're going to finish as the 7-9th worst team.

With the 8th overall pick, the OKC select Otto Porter out of Georgetown. If he plays well in a game or two, we're all going to be like FUCK BC!!! He gave away our SF.
