Default Tim Legler: Bosh is leaving

Ayone catch Court Cuts with Mecallif talking about Tim Legler saying on Twitter that he knew Bosh was going to leave the Raps, and would probably get traded by deadline?

Listening to the podcast now on which he supposedly also said it.

It's funny how this is said daily. lol

Chad Ford today:

Please tell me this Bosh for Bynum trade won't get done! I'm sick and tired of all these Big Market teams stealing other teams best players, ala Pau Gasol from Memphis; Garnett from Minny! This is the biggest reason I dislike the NBA other than the officiating!

Chad Ford (1:34 PM)
Raptors are playing better which I think has taken some of the urgency out of trading Bosh. I think Bryan Colangelo is still hoping to convince him that the Raptors can be a future contender. But all other signs point to him leaving. I think it will come down to a day or two before the February deadline before we know for sure. But if they are going to trade Bosh then the Bynum for Bosh swap is as good as it gets.

If Bosh were in Chicago would it be like this in reguards to his impending free agency?

Says he knows that Bosh isnt going to resign there, so he is gonna be traded because the Raps brass already knows that he isnt going to resign here. Pieces dont fit Bosh and team aint gonna win a Championship anytime soon and Bosh wants to win a Ship now.

He's entirely speculating. "His avoiding the question speaks volumes" bla bla.
He doesn't "know" anything. Actually he also doesn't seem to be aware of sign and trade possibility in the summer,

get use to it - there's real panic imo out there
trade season must be like christmas for retailers - the time the online outlets make most of their money

So everybody comes out with all this sensationalist stuff about how every player will be traded, just to create a buzz and trick people into signing up for their paid services (a.k.a espn rumours).

Those with a reputation to keep are slowly starting to abandon some ships, I see more and more remarks that Bosh will in fact stay here.

But don't worry, I predict that these rumours will die down completely within 3 weeks

This just after Bosh said this is the most encouraged he's been in a LONG time?

Ya... sure Snooch.. sure.

Don't listen to what Bosh is saying. Listen to what Legler is saying.

Was just watching NBAtv and they had a panel discussion, including Aldridge, just making shit up. They came up with Jefferson being traded for Carter. Yes - the Spurs are desperate for VC.

It's really quite sad that journalistic integrity only has to match the likes of snooch and his endless trade scenarios. Not that Legler, or anybody at espn, had far to fall in that regard. I sincerely care as much about what snooch would speculate as anyone with "credentials".

I'm curious where all these so called "signs" which all point to Bosh leaving are coming from. I mean none of the local media who follows the team on a daily basis are pointing this out (to the best of my knowledge), its only those Americans who can't believe someone would *gasp* enjoy playing his career in Toronto. Anyways not saying anything is for sure on whether Bosh is staying or not but the fact that they still think we should trade him before the deadline is idiotic. Sure a team that has beaten the spurs, magics, mavs, and the lakers as well as the cavs this season are clearly looking to trade their best player in order to look towards the future.... Geez get a clue...

Oh yeah, cause I am the only guy who gets a kick out of the possibility of Bosh being traded to improve the team.

The whole topic is boring BC isn't likely to trade Bosh now. If it does become necessary he will do it in the off season or just let Bosh go. I think Bosh is a truely excellent player but not a top 5 player. As Ive stated before the drop off between Bosh and players like Boozer, Lee and Amare is marginal at best. Boozer is a better defensive player with almost the same offensive numbers he could be had in 12 million mark for 3 years with 3rd at team option. Lee is a center which would allow Brags to play PF he has great numbers and energy could be signed for Brag numbers for 5 years. Amare a great player definitely cheaper than Bosh.

Bosh is amazing player, but if we can trade him for a good center he can leave then Bargs can play as power forward, i think it is his best position.

Where are you getting bashed? Were we all to presume that you claim journalistic integrity? Sorry if I gave away that little secret.

If Bosh gets traded to actually improve the team, then I have no problem with it. That's not really what's being suggested here though is it? It's more like every team in the league wants to improve themselves by nabbing Bosh, and we can continue on as a farm team of the North for as long as we can stand it. Woooooo! Cue the Kool and the Gang! Celebrate BABY!!!!

After Wade and James he is the most coveted possible free agent out there as all the talk. He is definitely one of the best pf's in the league.

This Bargs is a pf and Bosh is a center bs has to stop. Bargs is going to play the style he play's whether he is a pf or a center and Bosh is going to play the style he plays whether he is a center or a pf. So it doesn't really matter how you pronounce tomatoes, if you catch my meaning.

What an idiot that guy is, lol. His whole reasoning that Bosh won't stay is because he won't say he will or won't, lol. Bosh will still be a Raptor past the trade deadline, book it. Probably will be one next year too.

One thing I found interesting listening between the lines is that the host probably doesn't agree with his assesment of Bosh and his status with Toronto.
