Tied for second in Atlantic

Boston - 29-3
Toronto - 17-16
New Jersey 17-16

It seems the lowly Nets have quietly won 5 straight and have caught up to us. No chance of catching up to Boston but we gotta put some distance between us and NJ!

Ugh ... where have I been lately? ... I can't believe the NJ are back in the race. Maybe this will ignite a flame under our asses so that we can play a little consistant instead of flip flopping like we have over the last couple weeks. :(

and now we are below them.

Sam Mitchell and Bosh need to go in order for this team to ever win a championship.

This team will struggle to make it into post season if they don't shake up and smarten up...

There's still a lot of basketball to be played, but if someone told me at the beginning of the year that this team would be hovering at .500 near the half way mark i would've said that this team isnt going anywhere but maybe a seventh or eighth seed in the playoffs and a first round exit.
someone was mentioning on one of the other boards that during the detroit game, when espn was interviewing flip saunders between the third and fourth quarters, that when asked how he planned to stop the raptors offensively, he kind of smirked and said, they run the same play 90% of the time, a pick and roll.
back to the drawing board sam?

honestly, i'll be happy if we just make the playoffs. and i felt that way from the beginning of the season.

I just don't want last year to come across as a fluke.

This is harsh considering we're missing our 2nd best player and both our role player/heart guys. Disapointing sure... but really TJ is the closest thing we have to a 2nd all star and missing him hurts despite how good Calderon is playing...dont' forget it.
