So much for JO making us a tougher team this season.

I'd just love to see the rebounding numbers of the team if that JO speculation of him getting traded comes true

Could you imagine how soft this team would really be without JO?

I think the NBA would have to ship the whole team to France if JO gets traded

Maybe your right. I guess he just likes to stay 15 feet away from the basket on offence and just wait for the ball to come to him.

by not being soft, I jst mean that the guy is tough, he wouldn't back down in a scuffle, you can tell, and i have seen a few behind the scenes things that I liked, he just doesn't play agressive enough.

I don't call that soft. Unfortunately, we have about 5 players just like him!

agreed.
the basketball game isnt play behind the scenes...
but he does have it in him. he just doesnt use it.
he's like shawn bradley....actually a little worse than bradley when it comes to toughness.

Just because his offensive game is finesse doesn't mean he's soft. If I remember correctly he threw Vince halfway across the court and proceeded to chirp #15 after getting in a scuffle with him. Add that to the fact that he's the second best (and sometimes the best) post defender on the team and I don't know how you can call the guy soft.
Chris Bosh is soft. Have you seen the fruity picks he sets? I don't even know if you can call them picks...

why does everyone think he threw vince?
vince dropped down to the ground to get the call.

like when Bargs got elbowed in the face and didnt do shit about it? Or the times he gets man handled by bigs and doesnt do shit about it? Oh but he threw Wince down, he is a regular MMA tough man.

Neither one is Charles Oakley. Raps could use a guy like him.

Last season, I saw a game where the dude was knocked to the ground with a hard foul, the back of his head hit flush on the court - he had a mouthful of blood, he stepped to the line, sank all of his FTs, and then left the game. That's tough.

It's not that the Raptors aren't tough.. they're just allergic to rebounding.

lol. VC wrapped him up and tried pulling him to the ground to draw a foul. Bargnani just stood their. Their was no throwing involved.

He did mouth him though, I liked that.

I don't know what to make of this because I always thought TOUGH and REBOUNDING usually go in every sentence about basketball.

Rebounding requires little skill. Rebounding is all about desire and toughness.

Something the Raptors aren't showing

They may be tough, but they don't play tough by any stretch.
