Default Thirty-Eight...

...minutes of playing time for Bargnani at some point before the season ends. Which I would find much more satisfying than 38 points scored. We don't need big numbers from the big sophomore. We need to see him carve out a role that goes beyond Mo's old role, and lately he's been doing that. He's gone from picking up fouls far too quickly to hardly getting any fouls called on him at all now, and he's able to defend not only his own guy, but is showing a nice awareness on rotations, switches, and overall team defense. He might have been the best overall defender in the last couple of games, and he's looking very satisfied about it - even a better sign - although not surprising since he has always been an obvious team guy. I'd say Sam has been very good for him, and I'm thankful that Bargs was never allowed to get too comfy in a role that allowed him to be soft and one-dimensional. :bounce:

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

Well said LX and tonight should be his toughest test to date since he pulled his head out of his arse.

I'm looking forward to seeing him play Duncan. I'm sure they'll be times where Tim will expose Andrea, but I'm hoping he takes something away from tonight too and uses it as a learning experience whether or not he does well. Sponge it up tonight Andrea ... sponge it up.

Andrea was a big part of why the Raps won in SA. That was one of the first times we could see him actually assuming a defensive stance and doing some solid work in the post. So he just has to do it again.
