Unless you strike Gold like Cavs last year having their own pick and Clippers pick. Thus giving them 2 top 5 picks, I doubt Raptors will be able to have that much.

The most ideal thing I see possible is, our top 5 pick and maybe adding a late lotto to mid 1st rounder pick.

But if we trade Jose to the Lakers for Lakers + Dallas 1st. We can probably package those for a higher pick as well

Delfino + Milwaukee's first rounder for DeRozan. Jennings and DD are buddies. Raps get a familiar face who they can keep or let go at the end of the season, raps get a valuable pick in a loaded draft. Currently there are 6 "lottery teams" with a better record than the bucks, that equates to their pick being 8th at the moment. Currently the bucks would have to surpass Cavs (who are in 9th), and/or Boston (who are in 8th) or NYK (who are in 7th), can they realistically get into 8th place? Maybe, but I think there is a good chance that they don't. DeRozan will be looking for an extension soon enough and with this extra pick the raps will have more control of a player's contract situation.

LOL, I swapped DD for Delfino in the espnnbatrademachine and the raps' record improved by 2 wins and the bucks' record got worse with an extra loss.

On another note, if the raps could get 1 or 2 of Barnes, MKG, Beal or Lamb that would be excellent. Q.Miller and A.Rivers would be great with a 12-18th pick. Maybe Marshall too but we already have the Spanish version of Mark Jackson

PS: carp, DD + ED for Delfino + Milwaukee's pick is too much. It then becomes DD/ED for their pick as Delfino is an expiring. We would actually be helping them make a run as we'd be giving them 2 rotation players for one.

Jst thought I would mention that Rivers mentioned he might stay an extra year at Duke and come out for the 2013 draft.

Ill rather do Ed, Barbosa + 2013 1st for Jennings + 2012 1st and maybe stephen jackson whom we can waive after

Decent trade overall, but S.Jackson would have to be immediately waived due to his stance/attitude. And Milwaukee would say no instantly, they give up arguably their best player and their pick in a loaded draft for an expiring, a pick that will likely not be a top ten pick next year and Ed Davis whose ceiling is 10 ppg, 10 rpg and 1-2 bpg.

Also, no offense to Jennings but this team clearly needs a distributor at PG. I've already said this a million times but Bayless would be a slightly worse but much much much much cheaper alternative to Jennings. But he, like Jennings is not a natural distributor. Only way raps get a score first PG is if they land a SG who can handle and has good court vision or DD dramatically improves his handle, court vision, etc.

MKG said the same thing Michael Kidd-Gilchrist: 'I'm staying at Kentucky'

I could see rivers hanging on though, he's rich and didn't have a great year, so it makes sense for him to try to improve his position next season.

think you missed the trade details, we don't get jennings, we get their pick. Milwaukee keeps jennings and derozan. It's actually an interesting trade, I think the Raptors would do it in a hearbeat, we'd probably have to sweeten the pot for the bucks though.

It really depends on how much they like derozan, because frankly, he's a bad, bad fit in Milwaukee as far as I'm concerned. They need a 3pt shooter to space the floor for bogut/jennings and lockdown defense because BJ is undersized.
