In my opinion i believe CB4 hasn't recieved some due respect he has been an absoloute monster for us and not being a stats guy or anything at the moment he is 3rd in the league in PER topping guys like dwade, kobe and chris paul. My other point is on this offensive unit we have there are lots of mouths to feed and chris is most definetly not being as selfish as he has been in previous years, i belive hes added another dimension to his game.

I honestly think with a few minor tweaks (mainly at the SG) we can make a strong push this year without any trades involving CB.

for once I'd like to see the Raps keep a star player long term, and Bosh is a nice player to have
a slashing scoring threat from the perimeter is what the Raps have been lacking since the VC days

If he goes to the Lakers I'll be sick. As for staying here, it'd be nice. I'd still like to know more about the knees, but from his play this season, it's not a huge worry from my perspective. The fact that he is in high demand also gives some indication that it's not a huge worry around the league.

By staying here his talent is wasted. Raptors need to go over the tax, get star player to play alongside Bosh and Bargs and go for championship.

I will shed a few tears if he leaves. Actual tears.

IMO he's all NBA first team with Dwight, Lebron, Kobe, Wade/Paul. These guys only come around every 10 years to a franchise.

One thing is for sure though, if he leaves, there will be multiple "bring back Bosh" threads here everyday lol.

Bosh is a good guy, very solid player(offensively right now) but I cant see how this team is going to be any more competetive than it currnetly is, and unless we get a real difference maker through a pg trade(jose) or Demar develops(3 years) or MLE in the offseason(yeah right, everyone is getting overpaid this offseason that is only worth MLE) I cant see any way to add that other star. Pretty sure the other star was supposed to be Hedo.

If Raptors fans don't want him, there sure are a lot of other team's fans who would be happy to take him. CB4 is the only player in the league who is T10 in both points and rebounds. If you want to build around a 4 for the next 5-6 years (maximum length of a contract), I don't know who else in the league you would start with.

I wouldn't be adverse to trading him, simply because the team has so many other needs to be addressed. Still, I don't think you can deny his talent.

I'd like to see him stay. I think playing on the same team for most of your career is a pretty great thing. Obviously, it's not the same sport, not the same dynamics and a different era with much different economics, but I hope he turns out like Stevie Y. He was never as good as Gretzky or Lemieux, just as Bosh isn't Lebron or Wade, but he stuck it out in Motown, they put pieces around him and look what happened.

I want him to stay.

He gets more respect in this city than he deserves, it's funny when people paint it like he isn't respected. He is. Lots.

That said, Bosh isn't a top player, and doesn't deserve the max salary. Toronto makes that deal and they had better hope the get lucky with Bargnani turning into a top tier player, because they an't gonna sign one, won't be able to, and the have nobody else under contract with the potential to be anything more than average.

Bosh at MAX salary + Toronto = Zero rings.

With Bosh I'm ambivalent he is a excellent player but not great on the fringe of the top ten. If a trade could be made to done to help the team something like Bynun plus another good body all for it.

The thing with Bosh is that while excellent he is only marginally better than others much cheaper like Boozer, Lee and Amare. They would give more flexibility to the team locking Bosh in to a maximum will ties the team up without other trades.Think BC will do what is best for future of the team

still don't get why Lakers would want Bosh, would he be the C? he's not really an interior/post up player
Gasol is the perfect fit at PF because he's a very good passer, Bosh is not

Because whenever you can trade a non-allstar for an all NBA first team player you do it.

Would you trade Bargs for Lebron? yep
Would you trade Bargs for Kobe? yep
Would you trade Bargs for Wade? yep

Non of them are centers. But we don't really give a damn right? We give up our starting C without getting a centre in return, but it doesn't matter. Getting your hands on first team all-NBA players is rare, especially without giving up an all-star in return. Do not underrate Bosh. He is tier 1.

I don't know if the right question was asked....sure I would like him to stay, but I think he is going to go...the better question is....when do we move him to get max value.
