No chance the ball went in so late. Ok so first they run the clock for too long and then they start the clock early. If we dont protest this Im going to be pissed |

Fuck Atlanta.
cheating us twice now. Whatever. We "won" the game yesterday. That's how i see it. we played well enough to win. TJ was great. can't dwell on the negative. |

Bel we got screwed, but can you protest on a call where time is the issue? Don't the refs check the replay when reviewing the last shot ? Are there any certain grounds that must be met before launching a protest ?

I hope someone loses their job for this. I can be forgiving if it happens once, maybe twice but to have it happen 3 times where the scorekeeper has screwed up in just over a year is unacceptable if you ask me.

Colangelo said they're going to see if there is a chance for protest... but really they shouldn't have blown such a lead to get into that position...both of which i agree on

why ou keep saying that.
we aint talking about the way we got there, were talking about that specific play. And examining it closer, we got screwed, had we not, the collapse means dick all. BAH! |

I don't know about creaming.
They sucked all through the fourth. They've allowed two wide-open threes after a timeout to Atlanta's two best three-point shooters. They failed to foul Bibby on the floor (yes, that was TJ drifting off Bibby for no apparent reason and then kinda waiving his hand in Bibby's face right before the shot). So, even had they won the game, I'd still be pissed. All of the above has nothing to do with the way the Raps got screwed by the time keeping. |

i can see the 0.5 , but the 0.9 stuff wont fly. the refs are human, so are the scorer's table guys and to expect them to stop the clock on the millisecond bibby's shot goes through the basket is a bit too much i think, at least in the league's view anyway.
starting the clock early, well thats just shitty. |

Why's that cling.
They ROUTINELY add time back on for just that reason. Because the human factor is there. The evidence is all there should they wanna review it. It was a good play. Should have counted. |

absolutely it should have counted. but they usually adjust seconds, not milleseconds, though i think if its a half second, then absolutely.
im just a bit skeptical of the league doing this because i think it undermines the credibility of the officials. |

This one won't work because you can make the argument that with 0.9 seconds left, the play we run is different. Atlanta can say we would've gone for a jumpshot. I don't think we would've, but whatever.
