full rebuild in a sense that next season, I am pretty sure we will have a totally different core. For example, if Ross can get better, DD becomes expandable with no major impact on the team. I think it's safe to assume that MU will shake things up. This current team is playing pretty good but he inherited most of the roster that was put together by BC, including the coach. Imo this team is a 41-41 team.

A week ago I would've loved this move. Now, I think we should keep Ross. He's only 22 years old (23 in a month), only in his second season and improving by leaps and bounds. He's already a slam dunk champion (they have a pretty good track record of becoming solid players), is very athletic, and is a great defender. His chemistry with the team is solid, and he plays great at the 2 or the 3.

Ross has been trending upward, can't trade him now for a guy like Affalo because there's already a similarly productive player in DD on the Raps. I've been one of Ross biggest critics on here but he's shown what I've wanted to see from him since becoming a starter and he's only gonna get better as his confidence continues to grow. With that being said,I'd still trade him for Harris. He's a more legit 3 and can also be used as a stretch 4.

He was simply great. He scored and defended great against George. Good stuff.

Um, did you just say that DD is similarly productive to Afflalo?

Athletic guy with great character that is also a sharp shooter, defender, and great team mate on a rookie contract.
I really don't know if letting Ross go is a good idea.. "win now?" i hope that isn't what MU is thinking.

This stretch is Ross' first real chance to prove himself. Last year was introduction and little more, and this year his improvement (even at the start of this season) was very noticeable. Now he has been given his next challenge: big boost in minutes and role. He's responded very well if you ask me. I can't help to think it would be a big mistake to move him right now.

this would be a classic bryan colangelo move. So far MU has shown he has an eye on the bigger picture and this trade doesn't make sense in that context.

Masai will always ensure he gets assets in return ... He would make an excellent Texas Hold'em player ...

I certainly like what I'm seeing from Ross since the Rudy trade ... hoping for continued development in front of our eyes.

I always looked at Ross to be like Tony Allen but with a better shot

+1
Ross is doing well as of late. Still young and already a decent shooter. 2nd year known to be tought on young players, but he responded well, as you mentioned. I was pretty impressed with his D last night.

it's not even that

they might target "one of the many proven veterans playing on rebuilding teams," including Orlando Magic swingman Arron Afflalo, the league's 11th-leading scorer at 21.9 points per game.

Adding color to this rumor: Lowe reports that Toronto is likely to use second-year swingman Terrence Ross as trade bait in such a scenario, and Orlando "values Ross highly, per several league sources." Further, Toronto general manager Masai Ujiri helmed the Denver Nuggets during Afflalo's days there.

^ pure speculation

The article is suggestive...as much as I like DD,if Ross continues his stellar play it makes more sense to trade DD for a true SF than Ross because Ross is cheaper right now. I would keep them both for now but I also like Harris from the Magic and if they're really high on Ross like the article suggests then if I would pull the trigger on a deal involving the two if I were Ujiri.
