Doug Smith didn't hold back with his Ford criticism this morning in his blog regarding last night. Ford gets no respect at all these days ... from the fans and now the media.

Not sure if there was enough time to foul but even if there wasn’t, half-turning away while waving an arm? Brutal. If Ford’s even close, he wraps Bibby up the minute he catches the ball. I know Sam Mitchell, I know how he coaches and I can absolutely assure you he wanted a foul. They had Moon and Delfino and Parker in the game with Bosh and Ford, not sure they’ve got five better guys to defend at that point. It just took more effort than they got from Ford.

While I completely agree, he is just pissed at those last plays. Ford did a good job through out the game, but he was terrible on defense in the end.

Someone's going to get beaned in the head by one of TJ's "errant" passes.

i thought ford played great most of the game, that play on Bibby was bad, but he came back and hit a crazy "game winner" to make up for it imo

you can probably credit sam for that play, if anything TJ could have released the ball earlier, his hand lingered a bit too long on the ball. He had a great offensive game, no question about it, but defensively he was weak, without even counting that final possesion.

seriously tho, is Jose some kind of defensive dynamo compared? I find his D to be worse.

Wow. The pass was below the rim. You really hate TJ.

You wanna talk about weak defensively? How about Bibbys 8 points in 5 minutes vs Jose. Bibby had 12 going into the 4th.
