Now everyone's on the speculation train. Even this random dude who writes for the Knicks.

Check the bolded part below too. I hope this "guy who wrote this who I have no clue who he is" is right and that they'll be some competition this summer to acquire Ford services. That'll make me feel more optimistic going into next season.

Ford has two years and $16.5 million left on his contract with an $8.5 million player option for 2010-11. He has made it clear he wants to be the main man and the Raptors said they will match any offer sheet issued (the best the Knicks can offer is the mid-level exception) to Calderon. So if Calderon is getting big bucks, Calderon will be the man and Ford will likely be moved.

The Raptors want athleticism on the wings, so Renaldo Balkman and Jared Jeffries may get it done. Would you move Jamal Crawford if you are the Knicks? The Raptors would love to upgrade the shooting guard position and Crawford would fit well in this style.

All depends on what Donnie Walsh thinks. But clearly the Knicks need a point guard next season. There will be competition for Ford, of course. The Miami Heat will be in the market for a point guard, but they would love to somehow blow Toronto out of the water to bring Calderon to South Beach.

Ford at Miami makes no sense. They need a pg like Jose, at least when Wade is playing. TJ needs to go to a lousy team, like Memphis or the Knicks, where he can ne the #1 guy. Only Knicks have a need though.

The trade I'd like to see is TJ for Hinrich. We get a very good defensive player who is clearly unhappy in Chicago, they have similar salaries, although Hinrich has less money on his contract. Not sure if Chicago would do it though.

Does Miami actually have any tradeable assets?

Chicago has one (Deng) but he's not going anywhere and history has shown Paxson is quite stubborn when thinking about trades.

NY has Crawford.

Who else needs a PG? Minnesota? Seattle? LA Clippers?

I could see alot of this being settled after the FA market is done, when guys like Miller and Arenas sign either with their respective teams or move elsewhere. I could see Washington wanting to get their hands on Ford if Arenas leaves.

Im pretty sure BC would want Nocioni instead of Deng, he's untouchable in Chi.

I'd also like to see a TJ for Artest trade go down. Kings need a PG as well.
