The swap O'neal for Marion is real or roumor. You guys said it's in prosess, but I read on raptors.com that Jermaine doesn't play because of his injury.

No trade activity today because it's Martin Luther King Jr. day in the USA. Who knows what the status on the trade is now with Jermaine being hurt again.

The way Raptors are playing, they need to shake things up. Today they outrebounded the Hawks. Bosh was also yelling on some teamates today.

I predict the trade will be announced tomorrow...a guy can dream but seriously, the experiment with JO is done and the raps need to do something asap...every loss makes the team seem sadder and sadder...something must be done...pull the trigger BC

No need for a rebuild...just a lil tinker here and there

Maybe BC wants Triano to use Marion as one of our offensive weapons, and if that means running more, DO IT!

From what I've read on the Heat forum, guys would be, for the most part, satisfied with this trade. They see Jermaine as a solution to their lack of a productive inside presence and, as a worst case scenario (persistent injuries) cap space for 2010 and more playing time for Beasley, (+ James Jones, Cook, Diawara, Wright) and likely the offloading of Banks's contract.

Right now I don't care who gets traded as long as it makes this team better

marion is a top defender, artest level, without the headaches. While he would not solve our offensive problems, let's face it, when Jose comes back, we'll have enough offense. Our main problem is getting stops when we need them, like in the last 2 minutes ...

I read elsewhere that the Mavericks have already ruled out any interest in Marion.

Part of Marion's problem is that he wants to be the star, but the star is usually the player who can create his own shot in the clutch, and Marion cannot create his own shots. Now if Triano really does want to run more, then Marion is a great piece. And if Calderon can get healthy and get around the corner faster on pick-and-rolls, then Marion is a great diver into the paint. You know that he's a shut-down defender for almost any player from 1-4, but he has to be engaged. You would hope that a chance to be an important part of the Raptors and the opportunity to play a lot in a contract year will be enough to keep him motivated.

Either way, something needs to happen.

Trading J.O. for Marion? I think not ,for starters Raptors were looking for so long to get some inside presence and finally they got J.O. he is hurt but there is still hope that when he gets healthy he WILL kick ass under the hoop ,saying that Raptors should under no circumstances give up their only true big body for some overrated underachiving small forward who can not shoot the ball over anyone unless he's 10 feet away from nearest defender .We dont want to see Bosh struggling as a centre game in and game out , I think he is doing great job at current position and moving him to permanent low post would be terrible waste of his talent .This team needs a leader which clearly is not there .
They are playing like they had their balls wrapped with barbwire , no one on this team has any influence how they perform , Parker is not a leader Bosh shows some potentials once every 5 games , Triano is stuck in dark corner somewhere and seems to be scratching his head more than anything else and is loosing confidence in many peoples eyes due to lack of winning. Who do we have for a leader then? For a while I thought B.C. was the man, but as the season slowly goes into the drain ,so goes his reputation as a GM on this team .

1. JO is the overrated, underachieving player by far!
2.Bosh wouldn't be our Centre. JO has been out 3 weeks, do you see Bosh playing Centre?
