Wow. That is so weird.

They could've at least made it a little less obvious. I mean the guy spreading his legs out all the way just to reach D12's shoes.

Yeah it is kind of weird with the heights and all. But I just checked the heights of all of them via ESPN.com and they are definitely in the right order.

Team USA is going to steamroll through everyone, mark my words. It will be a slaughter on their way to the gold.

Well thats kinda what everyone thought every year. You're right, they do have a great chance this year but Jose and Gasol's Spanish team along with Manu's Argentinians look pretty good as well.

Now, I know, the competition today is more intense but I still examine that team and they played LIKE a team. Pride for the country went ahead of personal glory. But today, it's opposite and it's more of a cultural thing. It's more of a what can you do for me society and that's translate almost verbatim on the basketball court.
Yeah but who was the alpha dog of that USA team? Micheal freaking Jordan. USA has no alpha dog, just a handful of pretenders/contenders to the throne. None of the USA guys want to sacrifice their touches/stats for the team. Putting LeBron, Melo, Wade, etc. on the same team is tough because they all need the ball to be effective.

Then they have 3 ball-dominating PG's in Kidd, Paul and Deron. Great individual talent, but bad mix. Prince on the team is solid - he should play 40 mins a game. He's the only glue guy on the team!

Yeah, Prince is taller than Boozer. Booze is 6'8 while Prince is 6'9.

And I noticed the same thing both last year and again now - Bosh is slightly taller than the 6'11 Howard. But I can understand why Dwight is in the front - he's the team's only centre.

Yeah that's interesting. But there are a lot more guys like that obviously except guys like Shaq (not a lot of those).

Well thats the centre of the controversy.

People are saying that Bosh is the tallest, but they switched up the lineup in that spot so that they could cover up Dwight's Adidas shoes.

That, and Coach K sitting down while the rest of the team is standing, and using his foot to cover Dwight's.

The entire rest of the team is Nike, as you cans see.

for some reason Bosh is listed at 6'10" which I really doubt it's true. Anyway, I think this year USA will dominate, they are a very improved team compared to 2 years ago, and they have kobe and kidd, two outstanding defenders that they didn't have in 2006.

Go The Aussie Boomers!!

I just hope we take a couple of Big Scalps come Olympics time

Keep an eye out for this guy, David Barlow - 6'9" and can play 1,2 or 3 (25 yo) he has gone under the radar a bit i think.

I have noticed the dynamics of our national team head down the European phase.players are more lean and cut with a basis on defence. Barlow has a good allround game, with a nice touch (In a game this year he shot 14/14 for 37 points) he has been on our National team since he was 18 and this Olympics is his time to shine...

He couldn't possibily stay in Australia next season...

G'day Aussie,

Just our of curiosity how is Nathan Jawai viewed back in his home country? Does he play for the Australian national team even? He seems to be an intriguing prospect and upon my limited internet research, i think he can answer some of our interior needs. am i being too much of a homer in thinking this?
