Default Stephen Curry fixing the Raps in ten easy steps.

Here's something a little lighter for everyone:

Stephen Curry could fix the Raptors

DraftExpress has the Raptors taking Stephen Curry with the 8th pick in the draft this year. Sign me up.

My man Steph isn’t the end game, he’s the tipping point for a revamped Raptor organziation.

2009 NBA Mock Draft.

Said organization would go something like this:

1. The Raptors draft Steph Curry and Steph…
2. Convinces Dell Curry to coach the Raptors. Dell hires…
3. Charles Oakley and Gary Payton as his assistants. Coaching staff = settled.
4. MLSE pays Isiah Thomas $1,000,000 every year to make the Raptors first round draft pick.
5. Christian Lander is hired as General Manager to oversee all other personnel decisions. Christian…
6. Trades Chris Bosh for a bevy of draft-picks. Andrea Bargnani…
7. Has a year as “the man.” What about Calderon?…
8. Gary Payton transforms him into an All-Star (or drives him out of the league).
9. Charles Oakley mentors Pops.
10. Read the last sentence again.

In all fairness, these changes would only make the team decidedly better.

Stephen Curry is going to Duke next year. I think your article is out of date.

Hiring Dell curry is a mistake. He's got no head coaching experience whatsoever. He's been an assistant coach for 1 1/2 years - that's less than Sam Mitchell had, and Sam supposedly had a much higher pedigree.

Isiah is a fantastic judge of talent but unfortunately he's a control freak and team cancer virtually everywhere he's been since retirement. Plus he would never come back here since he stormed out after his failed bid to buy part of the team.

Why the heck would we fire Colangelo???

You mean Gary Payton and Charles Oakley aren't going to be our assistant coaches?

yea wow chill buddy, its a joke.
its really is to bad that thomas cant stick with a franchise
without becoming a cancer, because almost all of his picks have panned out.

really funny

Raptors will never draft Curry. He makes no D and he's undersized. The worst player when you've got Calderon at PG (I can break Calderon off drible)

Curry is a nice player to share the G with Billups, or Hamilton

trading Bosh could set us back 3 or 4 years, we don't have another guy who can handle double teams the way Bosh does including bargnani(see if he can change that next year)
