![]() A real GM poster summarized this:
- Organization very happy with Rudy. They see him as a franchise guy here that should be built around and value him as a closer hugely. - Happy with Ross despite his ups and downs. Thinks he'll figure it out and believes he can be an impact defender/athlete that can make shots. Says that's valuable in the league and suggested they were more comfortable with him because of those attributes than running the risk of striking out completely as many franchises do in the 7-10 range of drafts. - Wants to surround Demar and Rudy with shooters. If not at the deadline than perhaps offseason. - Praised new ownership group and said he was confident that they just want to win. They have approval to go into the luxury tax if a piece was available that would make us a contender. Said its great having ownership like that. - Bargnani not a lock to be moved. They will never just give away a good piece. Too early to tell what's really out there. Early in the trade deadline process. Lots of people lying. - Believes Bargs could be an impact scorer playing 24 minutes per game rather than 34. |

![]() If we're going to surround Rudy and DD with shooters, we can't take the ball out of their hands and give it to Alan Anderson or other dumbass players. Let them run plays and create.

![]() Not really. We still lack a banger at the 4 and imo a solid veteran backup Center. Especially if Bargnani is traded.
Just as an example if we were to get Milsap for Bargs + a vet Center in the summer. Milsap / Amir / Acy Valanciunas/ Vet / Gray ^ That is real depth at the 4-5. Last edited by jeffb; 02-12-2013 at 07:06 PM. |

![]() Kyle Korver would look good here when we decide to play 'small' ball and push Gay to the 4.
I also think that our 'lack' of size is greatly exaggerated. I know there's another thread, but I'd be more than happy keeping Amir in the starting 4, if we compliment him with another piece (hence the rumors of Blair, I'd even consider bringing Humphries back since he has additional attributes beyond rebounding). |

![]() We certainly need some 3 point shooters .... DD and Rudy are more mid-range shooters.
Would love to have Anderson from Hornets ... that guy can flat out shoot and has some decent post up moves to boot. Would trade Bargs for Anderson + 2nd rounder / young prospect |
