Default Starting C?

I know Magloire isn't going to start. He played like 5 minutes the whole game, we must of used him to scare some people off. I really don't want to see Gray starting either, his performance on Sunday was weak, but never know he could step it up. I really want Amir to start C, but that's just me, just needs to put on a couple more pounds

If Bargnani starts, gotta go with Amir Johnson. Pair up Ed Davis with Gray. Our opponents will be licking their chops with Bargnani and Gray at the front court and Jose guarding the point.

As much as I love Ed Davis, i dont think he can go against the Big C's in the league light Dwight D Jordan, etc, its a tough call, i think D Casey will change it depending on the team

Obviously they are not all going to stay healthy. Amir may already have ankle pain.

But it makes you wonder about distribution of minutes.

If Alabi is healthy, then he is really, REALLY not ready to play in the NBA if he can't get even into an exhibition game.

So, when they are all healthy, how does this look for minute distribution?...

Bargnani 34
Amir 24
Davis 24
Magloire 8
Gray 6
Alabi garbage time

I guess what I'm saying is....are their 2 "centres" techincally just back ups?

I don't waste my team on preseason, but is Andrea even playing center?

Coach Casey said in an interview after the first Celtics game he didn't win him playing any center and it would be a center by committee, feeling i got was Amir would get the bulk of the minutes at the 5.

Depends on matchup. Against DAL and Haywood, start Gray or Magloire. Against SA and a shorty like DeJuan Blair, go with Amir. Against WAS and the athletic McGee, go with Davis.

its 90% Bargs starts at 1 of the bigs, so i would put amir at the other, i don't want any of the vets we signed this summer to start and i wouldn't want a davis/bargs duo starting because i don't want either to defend at C, amir is capable at C

The opportunity to buy low on Robin Lopez is likely over so Amir it is
