He reminds me more of Deng than Barnes, actually. That being said, I'm not really interested in him. But his generating buzz at 8 is justified IMO.

I'd be very happy with Sullinger, personally. Yes, he doesn't fit a need, but he very well could be the BPA. He's intelligent, works hard, and has more talent than Ed and Amir combined. Scola upside, IMO. May also eventually spell the end of you know who.
A third undersized PF is going to spell the end of the only size-appropriate PF we have? No thanks.... good teams don't settle for undersized players.

I think if we stick at 8 and no one slips, it'll come down to Sullinger and PJIII. As leery as I am of Jones III, he does have some serious upside - and high risk picks like that are BC's M.O. A Sullinger pick would depend heavily on what BC plans on doing in terms of trades though.

Doubt Harkless goes anywhere near that high.

Not suggesting we ship Bargs out of town right away. We'd have to purge either Ed or Amir, though. But if Sullinger develops into Boozer or Scola or Diaw or Randolph or Love, it will make Bargs expendable sometime down the line.

Sullinger's size will be comparable with many 4s in the league. This is a league getting progressively smaller. I'll take the guy with the bigger heart than the taller tin man.

Size alone just isn't that important. It's how you use what you've got that counts.

I agree, but if you're suggesting Sullinger would be enough of a talent upgrade at the 4 despite also being undersized, I'd say you'd be wrong. If we're going to replace Bargnani, which may end up happening, let's not settle for a guy that will likely be at a significant disadvantage in the NBA to start.

Maybe I'm just not big on Sullinger.... I actually think Jones would be a better option given he can stretch the floor and has much better athleticism.

i agree...we either move up or trade down, 8th will bring us nothing we want(it's not about to pick a decent player ,it's about pick what we need)

i really want package Jose and Barg in the draft night(in return some ALL-star front court player)

then use 8th pick and (ED ,Kleiza) to move up, or even move down to get Moe hakless or Quincy Miller

Glad we agree on PJIII = AntRand2.0. Terrence Jones will definitely have a role on a team, the question is, will he be a 24 mpg guy or about 30 mpg player?

I think he could be really good... he can stretch the floor and has decent size and athleticism.... he may not be a star, but I could see him being a very serviceable player.

Terrence Jones isn't like Anthony Randolph though.... he's a PF in college, but he's a tweener in the pros.... the fact that he could hit the college three is a good sign though.

Perry Jones III shot 30% from college 3 last year, and he can handle the ball very well.

He's quickly becoming a good perimeter player.

He's completely different than Anthony Randolph, the comparison is way off.

30% that sucks doesnt it? a shooter should be averaging near the 40% mark?

Considering it was pretty much the first year with that shot in his repertoire it's not bad at all.

Also, he's not really a shooter, it's just something he's adding to his game.

He's still learning to play on the perimeter, but the early results are promising. He's definitely a project, but there's plenty of reason to believe he'll find a way to be a successful NBA player.

where are all these Sullinger thoughts coming from? No way are drafting another pf with the 8th pick especially not one that is undersized.

I was referring to PJones III being like Ant.Rand. "My bad" as the youth say, if I did not make that clear.

The Cavaliers are likely to select Harrison Barnes with the fourth overall selection if he remains available, according to sources.

"He's a pretty big deal to them," one such executive said.

Cleveland was known to be high on Barnes during the 2011 NBA Draft process before he elected to remain in school for his sophomore season.
