I know it's a one sided trade but the Cavs might be in tank mode again & this helps them completely...
Lets make this a little more interesting at least...

Then we have one rookie SF and 3 PFs because we would have to take our Amir to match salaries.

I would love a front 4 of JV and TT and a bench that plays 22-24 of Varajao and Hansbrough!!!!

Cleveland will keep TT or Anthony B. I don't think they'd want Amir and a often injured Bynum as their bigs.

Also - how many bigs do the raps need: TT, JV, Anthony B., Andy V, TH, Acy?????????

Did you seriously just post an article from a fan from another website posting about their trade proposals, and post as if it was a real article?

You're better than that.

Would do deal in title. Bennett isn't as bad as he looks out there.

agreed, bennett will be at least an above average player in the end of it all
he already has all the skills and athleticism, he just needs to learn the nba game and he'll be a useful player

Any deal with RG to the Cavs pretty much has to have Bynum coming back because of his salary. I'd imagine one of Bennett, TT or Waiters would be coming the raps' way.

I would do this deal instantaneously. People seem to forget unloading rudy gay means a tank for sure. 2 prospects and a tank to guarantee a high pick in the upcoming draft... nothing better than that

I put it through trade machine before i posted it. and the bigs we would have are not what you proposed since AB is aSF and who cares about acy. Its really not a reason. there might be more reasons but that isnt one.

I think without gay this team might actually be better. casey would be forced to get others involved on offence, including val, and LF starting may not be ideal but he plays D and gets others involved. may be better for our starting lineup than gay

AB is a PF but he's a player who is neither a PF or SF. I say PF cuz his 3 pt shooting can be an asset there whereas at SF he won't have the speed, lateral quickness, agility, etc. to play SF. He'd be starting at SF in Cleveland right now if he were a sf. Others argue that he is a SF. The fact that there is a pretty visible debate on it is an issue.

Overstacking at 2 positions while having no depth at others. TT will also be asking for an extension soon. What's the plan for minutes? 22-24 mpg combined off the bench for TH, AndyV and AB? Or 22-24 mpg each? Not enough minutes to go around in either case. Very very few teams platoon @ 2 positions or even have 2 starters play 24-26 mpg.

Also, I doubt Cleveland gives up on all 3 of their top picks from the past 3 years while depleting their stock of bigs to a healthy Amir and an often injured Bynum.

Ya I've always seen him as a Sf but I get you. If he's going to succeed in the NBA I think hes too small to play the 4 (not sure if he's 6-7 or 6-8 in reality), but cleveland gonna cleveland and keep fucking up.

It would give us

JV/Varajao/Gray
TT/Hansbrough/Acy
Bennett/Fields
DD/Waiters
Lowry/Buycks/Stone/Augustin

We would only suck at the Sf position really, but what else is new since we just keep sucking there forever! I think often you could put DD at SF and play with Waiters like we do now with Ross, but that's not a real solution long term or most of the game. I guess I would just hope AB could make the transition when he loses all that fat.

And i doubt cleveland would do it either. Hard to trade a number 1 pick even if its not working. See Bargnani.

imo Benett was one of the dumber picks in a while he might be ok player eventually, but I just don't see the upside in him. Derrick Williams 2.0
